Today was a pretty eventful day for me.

Well first, my schedule has been 6 to 2 for the past two weeks now (thats am to pm).  And today when I went to work like the past few days, somebody had already done my work.  All of it!  Normally that would be cool but for me it means having to hide throughout the store because of lack of ANY work that I must catch up on.

The rest of the day was pretty mellow.  The real eventful stuff happened after I got off work.  Well first thing I did was head on home (about a 10 minute drive).  Then after getting home I see a paper on the counter that says today is my dads birthday!  I think he's 49 or 48 I forget.  But I also had a package I wanted to get to the post office.

So I got in the car with my package and went to the post office.  I've been driven by there hundreds of times because it's on the way to the flea market.  well ya know, driving there on your own is alot different from being driven there by another person.  Espically if its your first time and your just going by how well you remember the way and not the road names (which I need to start learning if I want to be able to get out more).

So I went the right way most of the way but then at a T intersection I was supposed to go right.  Well instead I went left!  It didn't take long before I realized that I had taken a wrong turn!  I was starting to feel like Bugs Bunny!!  After having made a wrong turn at alburqurke (sp).  I ended up going all the way to Monroe Liberty High (7th and 8th grade)!  I was totally freaked out.  You never drive this far from home when you've only been driving for a few short months.

So long story short, I went the right way, got my packaged shipped, and then made my way back to work!  And this time, halfway there I notice the gas gauge is practically empty!  Luckily the truck never stopped except at stop signs/lights.  So I got my dad some birthday stuff and then went to get gas.

Well I've gotten gas once before but I had dad's help.  This time I was alone and after a few minutes I asked for help.  Luckily I already knew the gas attendent!  So my errands aside I decided to return home where I began to write this incredibly long topic.

I left one thing out, this morning I was 10 minutes late to work because I tried to drive with ice all over the windshield.  Never try that.  And yes I turned around and went home to get an ice scrapper.

  • And to add on. Since it's my dad's birthday we decided to go eat at ihop. That was about 10 minutes after I finally got home! I haven't had a chance to play video games today.
  • Shroom always make sure all your windows are clear before driving. I dont know about OHIO but here you can get cited for having a obstrucked view. but im glad to here everything worked out for you.
  • Shroom, now that you are driving, you gotta find a girl to take around on all these wacky rides! image
  • did somebody say Wacky Races??? oh yes, i went there
  • I had to drive with ice all over my windshield this morning, as well... Here's the bad part: I used an ice scraper to clear almost all the ice, but it iced over within about 1/4 of a mile of my house. Thankfully, I only had to drive a little over 1/2 mile, but it was morning rush hour o_O . My defroster didn't kick in until I was there image . You might say it's the only thing I hate about cold weather image .
  • Shroom...that was such a great read! I'd love to hear more of your crazy adventures!

    I agree it's like a Seinfeld episode.
