Fall Season Gaming

Every year I tend to play certain games in the fall almost as a tradition.  Such as the Ghosts 'n Goblins series and Castlevania series.  I am always up for finding new games to enjoy though for the Halloween season.  What games do you play this time of year?

Comments

  • Friday the 13th for sure.

Play it in the dark with the sound blasting
  • I do not want a heart attack for Halloween so I will keep the volume to a medium.  Good pick!
  • Outlast!
  • I'd love to play P.T. as I've heard great things about it but you know...

I always play zombies ate my neighbours though that's always a good time I just got the resident evil remake on the Wii so that's another one I'll be tackling
  • Currently replaying Resident Evil 4, and next up is Silent Hill 2 and 3, then Siren on PS2, which I never played before. I play survival horror games every October

Resident Evils are great but they tend to take a lot of time that I unfortunately do not have nowadays.  What is the shortest one in the series so I can attempt it?

  • Medievil or symphony of the night
  • I really want to come up with a list of all the Halloween-related games.

    Castlevania (all of them)

    Monster Party

Ghosts 'n Goblins (and all the related games)

    Resident Evil (all of them)

    Silent Hill (all of them)

    Dead Island

    Dead Space

    Zombies Ate My Neighbors

    Polterguy

    Friday the 13th

    Nightmare on Elm St.

    Fester's Quest

The Addams Family (all of them)

There's probably too many to list. I'm more interested in the games that aren't survival horror, just in terms of cataloging (not that I don't like them).
  • NA Halloween game of course!
  • Mickey's Magical Quest. That game is dope.
  • Well last year I played Castlevania: Circle of the Moon for the whole month of October.

This year, I'm playing Resident Evil: Revelations on Wii U.

Symphony of The Night is the perfect fall/Halloween game.
  • Shadowgate, that game still gives me the creeps.
  • I'm definitely going to play P.T.
  • Just kicked off October with Castlevania Bloodlines. Plan on firing up Friday the 13th and Zelda 2. Fatal Frame V gets an eshop release October 22 for Wii U though I haven't decided if I want to protest or not about that decision. It looks like North America is the only region getting fucked. P.T. looks amazing but don't have a PS4 sadly.

1,2, and 3 are definitely the shortest. If you know what you're doing you can finish in under 5 hours. Even if you don't know what you're doing it still takes under 10. I highly recommend the RE Remake on GCN or PSN/Xb live. RE4 and later are much longer.
  • Jersey Devil - PS1

    Shadowman

I picked up the remake on Gamecube a long time ago and still have yet to try it.  I will put it on the list.
