Dragon Quest Heroes PS4

I loves me some Dragon Quest, been on the fence on this one for awhile since it was first announced and it's releasing next week (Oct 13) probably will end up getting it with Shovel Knight (same day release) to muck around with until Fallout 4 hits. Anyone else getting this? Thoughts? Pie?

    Definitely picking it up day 1 to at least support the series, but I expect I'll enjoy it, much more than Hyrule Warriors at least.

    I would if I had a ps4. I like the mash up between Zelda and Dynasty Warriors so I'm sure the Dragon quest one will be fun as well.

    I really enjoyed Hyrule Warriors, of course I am a huge Zelda fan as well, Dragon Quest falls just behind Zelda in series (Castlevaina being third) that I've enjoyed since the NES hay day up to current gen. So yeah I can understand supporting DQ by buying this, and if VII & VIII remakes are still coming to the US 3DS that will be a no brainer purchase as well.

    Looks pretty cool! I had the collectors edition pre ordered but had to cancel for now. Will pick up a little ways down the road. Couldn't pass up the deal I found for a nice minty X3 box!

    I dunno. I want to support the series and I own all the games, so far. But I didn't play Hyrule Warriors like I thought I would and I doubt I'd get to this anytime soon.

    Just do it! I ended up trading in Hyrule Warriors and while I can't for sure say I'll love this game, it's doing more things differently that cater to my tastes more.

    Eh, I imagine I will at some point, but I'm busy with other games, currently.

    It wasn't on my radar until I saw some gameplay footage of the Japanese game, looks really good. Of course I lined up a collector's edition, gotta get that plush slime.

    Bump. Finally sat down last night to play this for a little bit. I'm not to keen on the male voice as he's already annoying me. Lol only put in a couple of hours in so can't really make a full judgement on it.



    Anyone else want to chime in?

    I put in 2-3 hours so far, waiting to finish my other game before committing completely. It's fun enough, but once more powers and skills get unlocked it will be more interesting. First impressions are good and it's what I expected, seeing all the DQ designs in HD and music is really the main reason I got the game
