What's the good PC/USB arcade stick to buy?
I'm way overdue to have a good stick on hand. I'm looking at the Qanba Q1, which seems like a good purchase. The X-Cade doesn't look like it's made anymore. But I have some new computer hardware so I need to get my MAME game back on fleek, and I'm interested in making a micro-arcade console with the R Pi for the living room.
Suggestions, recommendations, words of advice? Thanks!

You mean X-arcade? Those fuckers are still spamming the piss out of me.

Not bad, but not good. The buttons and sticks just have a poor feel, and it's not really an impressive box for the joystick. An ipac + few bits of plywood or partial board would work better, and the neat thing, Lowes will cut the wood for you pretty cheaply too if that's a problem. Then you just need to drill holes for buttons and away you go.

I did mean the X-Arcade! Thanks. Makes sense why nothing was coming up. I appreciate your mini-review of it. I've seen the ipac, it looks great but I'm working too much to take on too many DIY projects. I want something I can plug in out of the box for this one. Thanks for the info!

Then if you buy it, know it's easy to replace the buttons and stick later in the x-arcade. So it's a bit pricy that way, but it's a lot simpler and you can do the project in steps.
And there's room inside the x-arcade to add a raspberry pi inside, and run the video out the stick as a self-contained mame device with HDMI support

I have the 2-player tankstick (with two sets of controls and the trackball) that I'd be happy to offer a good price on, but shipping is abusive on one of these (they are around 15 lbs, or so -- $40-ish to ship).
Like Ozzy said, there is PLENTY of room inside the unit to house a raspberry pi project.
