3ds Pilotwings Resort: Any good?

I know this one was released to little fanfare and can be had cheap, but was it any good?

Comments

  • YES. I loved it. A good amount of missions and unlockables. Great controls to boot.
  • Yes definitely. Especially if you enjoyed the other Pilotwings games.
  • To be honest, you just fly around that boring Wii Sports Island or whatever it's called. It's Pilotwings.

Quite alright if you're in the mood for some mindless flying about.

Yes, some of the best $5 I've spent on a video game

  • As a fan of the the snes and 64 one i honestly wasn't all that into the 3ds release :/
  • Well there is only 1 level and it just recycled from Wii Sports/Wii Fitt. It is fun and very relaxing to fly around. There are challenges, which are very trial and error, but there aren't as many challenges as you would think for this type of game. I'd pretty much seen and done everything the game had to offer in about 3 hours.

Seems like more of a tech demo than a full game. If this had been a pack-in or downloadable title I'd be more forgiving but this was NOT worth the $40 asking price.
  • I liked it, feels quite relaxing actually. Not too bad for a launch game. Plus you can always make Miis that make no sense given the context of the game and make them fly over the island
  • I really liked it. To sum it up, if you like the other Pilotwings games, you won't be disappointed. It's more of the same formula, just with "Mii" graphics.

Agreed, I am pretty sure you could find it even at a retailer store new for $10ish....hell try your luck at that...1 day left 0 bids.
