It reminds me of the SONY Watchman I never received for Christmas.
  • Well, I know it's not a mini version but I always like the GameCube's design. Such a fun system in such a small package!

For an actually mini version of an original, I'll have to go with the GB Pocket. I dunno. I grew up with the original grey brick and there was something nice about this specific updated version. It was basically the same as the original and kept the same general feel but was smaller, lighter and had considerably better battery life. If I want to play an old skool GB today, I'm going to grab my GBC but there is something about the GBP that gets me right in the feels. It's the old-style, original feel but better.
  • How about the Sega nomad? I've always had a soft spot for it. It has a nice d pad, 6 buttons, can function as a console by hooking it up to the tv, and has a second controller port built in. The screen is pretty bad and the battery life isn't great though. When my power went out for a day during the summer I actually made use of it by beating Streets of Rage! That night, I used my cdx with batteries to listen to a cd. I was thankful for it that day!
  • Gamecube.
  • Never owned one, but I've always found the Atari 2600jr's design to be cute. Same design language as the 7800, which also looked pretty sharp. Shame their shrunk-down 8-bit computers didn't use it.
  • NES Top loader wins it for me.
  • Genesis 3...

    *runs*
  • A second vote for the PSTV. It's a crazy emulation machine and so tiny, I bring it on business trips. Really convenient to travel with.
