I'm a CIB collector. Nothing even goes on my shelves/into my collection unless it has the box. I was a cart-only collector for about 2-3 years. Then I came to my senses.
i buy it all but i collect cib's. i have about 100 loose carts and manuals waiting for a home and a few boxes that need stuffed.
im not crazy about condition but rips/tears and writing drive me up a wall and i try my hardest to stay away from anything with said problems. i am also okay with saving a little extra cash on a cib in really good condition as opposed to spending a ton on a super minty one.
I am mostly cart only. I do have a few games with manuals and/or boxes. I like to play my stuff to. As well I dont think I could store all the boxes and stuff. I actually went through my NES games tonight and I am up to 121.
I'm a CIB kind of guy, myself, and pending in a fairly large purchase that you are sure to hear about if you check Finders Keepers sometime next month . Of course, that fails to mention that yes, in fact I do have a couple sealed games, but nothing too fancy there (WLoD, Sunday Funday and Bases Loaded 4).
I'm not much into collecting for it's own sake. I usually only get games that I like to play, and then I'm fine with them being cart only as long as they're clean. Most of the CIB stuff I have I got new years ago.
CIB only for me or else it doesn't officially "count." And I'm a condition whore so a game (and especially the box) has to be about 8.5 or better out of 10 or I turn up my nose. I've also turned tons and tons of sealed games into dead mint CIB's too...
Cib for me on Xbox, and booklet and cart for NES. Boxes on Nes are just too hard to keep in good shape since I still handle and play my games, I would rather the boxes be in a true collectors hands like NGD or Dr. Morbis. As long as I know how to play the game, im good, don't need no stinkin' box to play it.

You came to your senses?
If you did you would be collecting sealed games

CIB all the way ...and working on having a whole set of sealed NTSC N64 games.
Fixed that for you Aaron!
