Finished Silent Hill 4 for the first time the other day. Wasn't a big fan of it, kinda disappointed actually. I found the game to be annoying mostly, though the story was intriguing. Half of the game repeats levels from the first half and is an annoying escort quest to boot. I replayed Silent Hill 2 and 3 before playing 4 so it could be that 2 and 3 are just so awesome they make most other horror games look bad. In any event I'll likely never play SH4 again, though I'm glad I did play it even just so I know what it's like.
Yoshi's Woolly World came out today so I'lll be picking that up and playing it after work!
On my lunch breaks at work I've been bringing my 3DS and switching between Chibi-Robo Zip Lash and Legend of Legacy. The former I'm nearly done with and found it to be generic feeling but mildly entertaining.
Just finished another play through of Super Metroid. It has been a few years. I was rusty because I only found 95% of the items and I missed breaking the 3 hour mark by 8 minutes.
Golden axe warrior on the master system, dragon warrior iii on nes, silpheed and ground zero Texas on Sega CD, elemental gimmick gear on Dreamcast, senran kagura shinovi vs on vita and ecco on genesis, kind of all over the place haha.
Adding another. I popped in Ghosts n' Goblins last night. Straight up train wreck. That game spanked me and sent me to bed without dessert. Just saying.
Funny I've been playing Dragon Warrior 2 myself. I've been playing Battlekid 2 intermittently as well.
Still have yet to get it, same with III. Dragon Warrior I is in the mail right now...I have always had the cart since I was a wee lad but never had any of the maps or the explorers handbook.
I've had 1 for a while now. I got addicted to it about fifteen years ago and have been meaning to play through the entire series ever since. Only recently I coughed up some cash and bought the other three. The first game seems like a very different beast to the others. It has a lot more exploration and dungeon crawling. (I actually miss buying torches and exploring caves) It's also hard as hell. If you like it then you should also check out the rom hack "Dragoon X Omega". It's a DW1 hack that is also hard as hell.

Will do man, first I have ever heard of such romhack.
NES: The Punisher - Been working at trying to beat this one. Farthest I've gotten so far is Kingpin Stage 2 before they suck away all my lives but I'm almost there.
Genesis: Castlevania: Bloodlines - Trying to beat the handful of unbeaten Castlevania games in the spirit of Halloween. After Bloodlines, I still have Castlevania 3, Adventure: Rebirth and Rondo of Blood to complete.
360: Dishonored - Finally getting around to this game. Have always had my eye on it because it seems to be something of a mash-up of Thief and Bioshock. So far, it's pretty good but has a few frustrations (mostly with level-design and enemy placement). Still, if the quality stays consistent, I'll consider it an adventure worth having.
Just finished: Tearaway Unfolded and Life is Strange Episode 5 both on PS4. Still playing Rock Band 4 on XB1 and 3-4 hours into Yoshi's Wooly World which is awesome.
Castlevania Bloodlines on Genesis. Been playing it all month in short spurts. Need to sit down and get it done. I think I'm on the last or 2nd to last level.
Just got power blade for NES so I beat that last night and I tried again to beat back to the future. Unfortunately only got the Delorean up to 87 mph so close... I basically beat it.
I've been playing through Dragon Spirit since it was recommended here, and I really like it! It's a SHMUP where you can really tear things up. ... Or burninate?
Been playing Final Fantasy Record Keeper and Terra Battle on Android.
Playing through Silent Hill 2, and it's definitely growing on me.
Also just got Transformers: Devastation.
And I think next I'll be giving Metroid: Prime a go.
Also promised a local guy I'd finish playing through Shadow of the Colossus.
Pokemon XD mostly. Just took a short break to play through Brawl's Subspace Emissary. Will finish the last few things in Pokemon Crystal when XD is done.
Been playing SpongeBob SquarePants the Movie for ps2. It's not bad overall but I recently beat Battle for Bikini Bottom which is pretty much the same game with a deeper story and all around more refined. So while I am enjoying it, it's not as good.
Also been playing Othello for the nes. Game is ridiculously addictive.

Power Blade is one I've been meaning to pick up for a while as I play board games with a friend who used to work for Taito at the time it was being developed and he always speaks highly of it. I remember reading about the game in Nintendo Power back in the day but never got a chance to play it.

It's definitely worth picking up. It's not too difficult. I would say I am a moderate skill player and I was able to beat it my first full session playing with one continue. I like the maze like aspect of the levels where you have to find your way around for power ups and to advance to the boss. I feel the bosses could have been tougher though. The first time I played the final boss I only died once before I beat him.
Another Update: I powered through and beat Castlevania 3! F*ck yeah! I got pretty livid by the end in the final showdown with Dracula but after about a dozen attempts, I realized the mistake I was making and was able to turn the corner and send him packing! The final nail in the coffin of the NES Castlevania trilogy!
If you can't tell, I'm pretty pleased with myself right now!

Can't decide what to play next.

The new DBZ game for 3DS. 8/10 reminiscent of the SFC games. Total tits.
Which game is that? Did it just launch?
EDIT: Just saw it on Metacritic. Was thinking about picking it up but so far it has 1 "good" review and 13 "mixed" reviews. Average score 63. Ehhhhh
