Possible Battletoads NES Prototype?

Hey guys! I'm a local shop owner in LA, and came across this little oddity in a bulk trade. Looks *suspiciously* like a prototype NES cartridge, and the Rare sticker on the back and Tradewest address on the front only piques my curiousity. Haven't actually popped it into a system yet, but I have to wonder what exactly this cartridge is worth, if it's legit.

    Did you open it up to see the board. If it's real, it's probably worth a bunch! No idea how much though...

    So, fired it up and it's Battletoads, for sure. And the board sure looks prototype-y.

    Need pics of the other side of the board to ID it properly. Neat find if it turns out to be a proto.

    I'd be very very interested to know if there were any differences in the game, I've played so fucking much of this game I'd notice the tiniest changes and get so happy haha.
