Do you have or have considered getting some game related tattoo?

Do you guys have or have considered getting a tattoo on you, mainly gaming related? For the longest time I've considered getting the Sigma logo from Mega Man X on the top side of chest, but only considering still. It's the only tattoo I see worthy of getting.

If you were planning on getting one, what would you get?

  • I got a full Silent Hill sleeve (shocker) back in 2010. Took 6 sessions, every other weekend - about 36 hours total. I have zero regrets. The biggest piece of advice is to be sure you know what you want and go to a high end, reputable artist with plenty of years/experience under his/her belt.
  • always wanted a nes or snes controller. Other than that I wanted Vault Boy from Fallout. I plan on getting one soonish. (been saying that for like 7 years)
  • Even though my wife isn't a fan of video games, we have considered getting zelda tattoos. Link on me, and Zelda on her, 16 bit lttp style.
  • I unfortunately was mostly out of tattooable real estate by the time I became a more serious gamer/collector (full sleeves and 1 1/2 leg sleeves + much more), so I'll probably have to squeeze some game-related tattoos into what I already have. Probably things like the Triforce, Resident Evil squad crests etc.

Good advice. Cheap tattoos are usually never good tattoos! Also, make sure the artist can spell. Wouldn't want to rock a Nintendoh tattoo!
  • I've considered it but I'm not doing it until my heart is absolutely set on a certain image. I have other tattoos of things that mean a lot to me. My advice, there is no rush and take your time with it. You are probably going to carry that tattoo for life, so taking a little while to make a decision can't hurt. On the flip side, I wouldn't overthink things to the point where you never get a tattoo and regret it later on. I remember when I got my first tattoo, a middle aged guy came up to me and complimented it and went on about how much he has always wanted to get inked. Don't be that guy. If you decide that you really don't want to get a tattoo, then more power to you but if you are set on getting the tattoo go for it.

Most importantly, we expect pics if you through with it .
  • There were a few. Foxhound symbol, GTA style box as a sleeve , and a few more.
  • My co worker has a very nicely done Zelda triforce on her forearm.
  • After seeing the thread where one of our members actually wanted to kill himself for how bad of a tattoo he had, I think I'd have a hard time trusting any tattoo artist enough to put something permanent on my body.
  • lmfao no you are not a maverick
  • I've thought about it but I could never settle on a single piece plus my fiancé is not a fan of the idea.
  • Not a fan of tattoos or piercings or any of that junk. Always looks tacky!
  • /\ Thanks.

I thought about getting a triforce on my left hand. Not going to do it, though.

I have a sleeve on my right arm.
  • Yeh I'm getting each letter of "Game Over" across each of my knuckles. Haha just kidding...I'm too indecisive for tattoos but I think they're awesome!

Well the Repliforce logo isn't really the best logo to look at. ;p

  • I've thought about it many times, but I don't want a single logo or a single character.

If/when I do it, it will probably be a sleeve, but since I've started on 2 sleeves already I might as well give someone freedom on my leg

Why not just get a sleeve on the ol' third arm?

  • Pure hilarity that a guy that contemplated getting a NintendoAge tattoo was only active for a year, and hasn't logged in for over 5 years now.

  • I wonder how many people actually have NA tattoos.
  • I know I want to get a Nintendo related sleeve one day. Before that, I want to get the sky pirate symbol from Skies of Arcadia somewhere on my shoulder.

I thought PMA had one, but I could be mistaken.

If anyone had one, I would imagine it would be him!
