Annoying glitches in games
I've googled and can't find anyone else having the same issue, but it happens on both emulation and real hardware.
There's this section in stage 7-2 where there is a drop, and below you is an enemy. You can lure this enemy to the left. It will keep walking left until it falls through the wall/floor which seems like another glitch. Sometimes when you do this, the game gets stuck and you can no longer scroll to the right. Then you have to wait until the timer runs out. This happened to me several times during my last NGII playthrough.

I recently played through this game on original hardware and did not encounter any problems. That really sucks to hit a game breaking glitch that far into the game. Did you end up getting past it?
If you rush through that section and don't cause that enemy to keep going left, you won't encounter the bug. Otherwise you have to wait for the timer to run out before you can keep going.
I did get past that part and then got stuck on the second form of the final boss before eventually turning it off. I have beaten this game before, but I'm not very good at it yet.

Another one is on my FF3 snes cart. On Cyan's side quest, when he opens the chests in zozo area, my game will sometimes lock up. If not, I'll generally have 99 flame shields, and a few other armor pieces I shouldn't have. This is pretty consistent too, and not a bug I've seen listed anywhere.
In the 3rd rat race on Battletoads, sometimes you'll kick the bomb but the rat won't drop... There's no timer, so you have no choice but to reset the system.
Considering the extreme difficulty in making it that far in Battletoads, that's one of the worst glitches ever.
I could never get past the Grim Reaper stage on Castlevania. Every time I tried to beat it the game would freeze on that stage. It's happened to other people as well:

Luckily, the Famicom cart re-release of this game fixed that glitch.

Glad it wasn't just me. Both of my 5 screw Castlevanias glitch out on that level, too.
