Something I've wondered for many years about Mega Man X on the snes

I just recently remember trying to do something on Mega Man X for hours as a kid and always thinking I was doing it wrong or not fast enough and the fact that it's still up on Gamewinners, begs the question.



Can X actually freaking sit down in X1 by command?

If not, why the hell is this little 'hint' been up with the page all these years??

This was MY 'mew hidding in the truck' gaming rumor that I've believed for the longest time but never pulled it off.

    doesn't work. And how do you "pause", go into the menu ? I tried it on version 1.1 of the game.

    There were a bunch of these for Mortal Kombat... then Midway made some of them real in subsequent games.

    Yeah, huge in the 90's. I tried for weeks to activate the Inferno Match in WWF Warzone for N64. I wish I had the logic at that time to realize if that mode existed in the game, it would have been the most promoted mode. Getting the Entertainment Channel in Harvest Moon 64, that was just awful too.
