I was playing grim fandango on the pc back when, and it glitched out on me and sent me to a child like drawing of a doghouse for glottis. It really really freaked me out. I actually took a picture of the screen with a camera (still have it somewhere).
Years later I found out it was a map you got booted to if it broke while loading another map. I can't remember the exact explanation but man it was a relief. It's easily one of my favorite games and that memory always creeped me out.
If by found you mean ones that others may have found but I had no idea of then yes.
In Super Mario Bros I hit the switch at the same time bowser killed me and Mario flew off screen and Toad was talking to no one. After that I tried it as Super Mario and it messed the game up where I stayed big so when I got the flower it messed the sprite up. I can't remember the details but I'm sure it's all documented online.
I did jump over the flag pole as well because people at school said you couldn't. I remember it was a stage with the platforms on a balance. It broke the game of course because I went too far and lost the flagpole.
In Kirby Air Ride's City Trial mode, there is a glitch that I don't know how to reproduce but if you go really fast and try to hit the ground at a certain angle you'll actually clip out of bounds and fly under the city but afterwards you fall into the abyss and spawn in bound again.
Haha I remember a while back I made a thread about tapping down twice in Mike Tyson's Punch Out to duck, and along with myself many people on this board had no clue that you could do that.
In terms of cheats and glitches, the only really memorable ones I found myself were when I would use the Gameshark Code Generator feature. That was always satisfying when you figured out how to make something unlimited on your own.
when I was a kid we mashed some random game genie codes into gargoyles quest and I think somehow broke the collision detection because in addition to some random graphical glitches once we got to the overworld it didn't block you from walking to places it normally did and I saw a ton of the game for the first time--I've still never made it that far legitimately in the game

I had that happen for soul blazer. The infinate life code for act raiser disabled clipping in soul blazer, letting you walk through walls.
I think I may have mentioned this in a prior post but I forget. Still I haven't spotted this glitch online and it's kinda useless and makes it even harder to play. I experimented with this trick with every Tomb Raider game released on the PS1 but it seems this will only work on Tomb Raider Chronicles. This glitch will make Lara invisible, however enemies will still spot you so it's more of a just a different way to play. To begin with you'll need to become familiar of where the game will cut out to one of the many scenes that play through the story. But before this can happen you'll need to place Lara in a spot where she will slowly die as the scene is playing. I found this glitch in the sunken sub area and being that it's been so long since I've played that I'm unfamiliar with any other location where this can be done. Anyways when the scene ends Lara will be dead and your menu will ask if you wish to continue. Doing so will respawn Lara, but she will be invisible.
If anyone out there is interested in trying out this trick in different areas or even various titles feedback would be great as I haven't owned this title in years. Heck I might even go back and try doing this with Tomb Raider 1 and 2 tomrrow.
Maybe not a glitch per se but in DD2 i once had a character (Roper) throw his boomerang in the beginning of lvl 2 right after jumping from the roof down to the first platform. When i add up all my gameplay i must've crossed this stage dozens of times and it has never happened since.
I guess I should think a bit more on this since I've discovered a ton on my own and never really thought about it. For example just now in Arcana, after reaching a spot where an event happened, I spun around in circles, and got no random encounters (Lazy way to prevent a random encounter from messing up where there should be a boss is to make that spot encounter free). In Arcanaa, when you walk, the spirits with you regain health and MP. They also have curing spells to heal the normal party members, but they only work in combat. So if I want to heal without wasting a sleeping bag, spin around in a spot, then fight a combat, kill all but one monster, and defend\heal till I'm ready to kill off the last one. It's not an overpowering cheat mind you, where I'm at now one fight is the same gold as a sleeping bag, just keeps me from having to worry about inventory.
