Turbografix 16 carrying case

I got this off of a guy 2 years ago who got 2 of them from a nec rep. I have the one that is solid plasic that holds the games as well so a buddy of mine was wanting to trade for this one. Problem is, we are having a hard time determining the trade value. when i got it, i traded a cib tmnt 4 and cib tmnt tf snes for it. Of course that was before the price spike.

  • it's worth a cib tmnt 4 and cib tmnt tf snes. for cripes sake if your friend wants it, just give it to him. you had to come here and ask for what? so you don't get "ripped off" in a trade? what you want for it is what it's worth.
  • $150-200 I'd say.

I just sold a real nice condition Sega CD one for $175, so I went between that number... welcome to the forum troll.

  • I saw that same one at Portland Retro Gaming Expo in October. They seller had it for $150 on the first day and on Sunday it was down to $100. Not sure if it sold or not.

With the foam being in that nice of shape, I'd say $100 is a safe trade value.

The $175 for the Sega CD case may have been an anomaly.   I had problems getting $15 for mine a few years ago (foam was also fine, sticker showed some wear though).

I figured it was quite a high figure.. I had a bunch of people offering $50-75 so I figure it may be around $100 or so, but then I got the offer of $175 and felt quite lucky haha

  • No I came here to ask the value because it's not something I've seen pop up in a long time. He was the one wanting the value of it so we can do an even trade. No one asked you to get your panties in a bunch over nothing.
