Dust Sleeves & Clamshells

I recently got a bunch of random sleeves and clamshells in and noticed several different kinds. Was just wondering if anyone had any different ones.



I got in about 100 Funcoland sleeves in 5 colors, does anyone have any other colors?

Then I got in a new color of Nintendo brand clamshells that I had never seen before a lime green one. For the Nintendo brand ones I now have lime green, yellow, blue, clear, pink, and orange. Does anyone else have any other color of actually Nintendo brand ones?

Then I got a whole bunch of generic clear ones with no company info on them, and a bunch of the blue ones by Alpha.



Plus the clear Messiah ones that have a red M on the front.



Does anyone have any other that I haven't mentioned?

    This is probably a stupid question but how were the Nintendo clamshell cases released? I see them floating around every now and again but have always wondered how they were released. Were they just sold as a pack of an empty set of 5 (all different colours) for people who lost their original boxes for games? What's the story with them?

    Actually that is something I have been wondering myself.

    I have only seen 1 sealed packed of them, but I have never really looked to be honest. The one I saw was a case of 5 blue ones together. Blue and clear are super easy to find, but the green, pink, yellow and orange just don't show up all that often.



    I will add the Messiah ones as well, I forgot about them.

    They came in packs of 5 in various colors. I have a sealed pack of blue ones, but I've seen clear and some other colors as well. I'd imagine they came in large packs as well, but perhaps Speedy_NES would know more on that one.

    I have a pink one and a blue one and one Nintendo dust sleeve i am not made of win.

    They were sold on hangtabs at Toys R Us for $.79 each in the 90's. I still have my originals with price tags on them image I got blue, yellow, clear and pink this way, never saw orange though.

    Only my yellow ones have the hangtab still. They had the sticker till earlier today when I took them off. I have only seen the one green one so far.
