Yeah, that looks right. Either that or some other blue-covered music game we had a billion of, like Rock Band 2 or whatever shit. Man, I have some pretty fond memories of working for GameStop through that console generation, but godDAMN will I never miss having to step over piles of shitty plastic instruments to get anywhere in the stockroom.
I doubt rock revolution for wii ntsc exists. Probably the same thing as sudoku ball detective which got a ds release.
Another one that seems to fall in to that catagory is Dragonology for the Wii. Looks like it was damn near complete for the Wii, but just got a DS release as far as I can tell.
Don't forget Rock Revolution. Supposedly 3 copies sold before that recall.

Apparently it was 2 copies, not 3. The web page I read way back then talked about how the game selling so few on the Wii was only due to the fact that the game wasn't set to release in on the Wii yet, and stores broke street date. Then, come the Wii street date, I actually went out to find a copy only to be told by employees at the GameStop and Blockbuster in Dekalb IL that the game was recalled. Sure enough, I went back to my dorm and checked Konami's website and it no longer listed the Wii version.

Speaking of rare Wii games, I just got my copy of Atrevete a Sonar. The game is in English AND Spanish and has writing in both languages on the back of the box. I was under the impression it wasn't going to be in English at all. It's published by a company in California who does "Latin American" games. The game itself is a fusion of a singing game ala Karaoke Revolution and a dancing game ala DDR, but the DDR aspect is done with a controller ala Hatsune Mika. The license of Atrevete is a Mexican franchise. The game only should come as a set, with a transparent plastic case which houses a micorphone and the game. It's the first time I've seen a big box Wii game with this type of game case. It's like a cardboard fold open type thing. I have almost all the big boxes and they all used cardboard sleeves or standard Wii cases.
I have it sealed but this is all visible because of the see-through plastic. I will post pics tonight if I can.

The thing about Wii collecting, or any current or last gen collecting, is that you can find the majority of those games pretty much anywhere. It's easier to collect for those consoles because you can usually hit up clearance racks and bargain bins or Gamestop. So it really doesn't surprise me that Wii collecting is taking off.
Now fasr forward 20 years and watch as those who bought up all those clearance Wii games toss them all on eBay and label them as ***RARE***. That would be a sight to behold.
