  • I hope to be back to this in two or three weeks.

Meanwhile, it is great to see more NES games getting squashed!

Great job guys. Keep at it and we will have it done with time to spare!
  • AD&D: Pool of Radiance - beaten.

Yeah definitely a long one, the game was not that bad imo.

It's EVIL! EVIL! I refuse to play it!

Mostly because I'm such a fan of the PC version; and the series in general is my favorite game series.

  • Anyone know how to reset Bard's Tale? I'm not sure if removing all party members and making new does it or not.

I do not know how to do that either, but I know something that might work, oppen the cart and replace or just hook off the battery so you get reset any info stored in the cart. Not sure if yu have to soldering to do so. Good Luck!
  • Ultimate Air Combat is done

  • Took me a couple months to get back to it, but Snakes Revenge is beaten!

And TMR, welcome to NA! I love your videos, you are my hero!

You would have to solder to remove it, and wait a surprisingly long amount of time too.

But I was playing it on a PSP last year, and I wanted to play it on the same one this year so I can use it on the exercise bike, so I just popped out the mem card and deleted all the files for it, which cleared the sram.

I'm starting to think there is no actual save for the game.  You save the characters.  If you complete a quest, you can run the same quest again and again, since all you really need is the item, which resets.

    Thank you so much <3

  • Flying Warriors Beaten

  • Just a bit of status in Bard's Tale, grinding in the Catacombs for a bit, think I have 1-2 more runs through it before I move to the castle. Castle I won't be grinding for experience so much as items,I think it's the tower after the castle thats best to level up on. I think. Been a while since I played it (Like a year)

  • Just beat Monster Truck Rally once again...awful game. Finished with the most points overall (ignore the trophy, that's just for the last race).

  • You all lads leave me some games to beat for when my left hand is back in business.

    Great job, lads.
  • Just finished Back the Future II and III. Took 5 days of some intense almost non-stop gaming, during my freetime, with the nes kept on. I didn't use any external hints, help or anything else. My maps are attached.

I have to say, this was game was tuff but really fun and enjoyable! Everything can be figured out with some patience and some mapping. Seems like a misunderstood and underlooked game, it is defiantly one of the better back to the future games out there.

    BTTF 2 ENDING

  • Nice maps! It's so rewarding to beat a tough game without looking anything up. I got every single collectable in Uncharted 4 recently without a guide, that felt pretty good.
  • I beat 1942 entirely with the Roll'n'Rocker last month, but apparently it was already beaten. I mentioned this with pics in another thread. It would be interesting to also consider games beaten with different accessories in the future.
  • finished rally bike

  • Is anybody working on Dragon Warrior III? I might start that this weekend if no one else is. I try to avoid overlapping RPG's since they tend to be pretty time consuming.

Not me.  I'm working bards tale, but been busy last few days.  Just need to grind, then beat the final castle.

Need some freaking gold too, high level spells are expensive.

  • Definitely not me. I am not overly fond of jRPGs or computer RPGs for the most part.

That's a really nice game to have off the list. Seems like it was one of the harder ones left. Also, you're very close to passing me for third place!

  • Took care of George Foreman's KO Boxing to try to get back to this.
  • I just got Pinball Quest. Ill work on that.

    EDIT.

Welp I finished it!  And in true RPG fashion you gotta grind.

This game isnt too hard once you have enough money to buy the right items, but the BIGGEST flaw is that in order to get stronger you need to defeat enemies.  After you fight the first boss and move to the second level, if you move down, no problem but you lose half your attack.  The problem is, the key the first boss drops is still there!  Why this is annoying is because if you touch it, you automatically move to the next level.  Its in an area where some enemies are, so if your attack is 0 and you get the key, you get no chance to get it back if you touch the key accidentally.  Which that happened to me, until I tried to concentrate on beating the enemies and not get the key.  Honestly thats the toughest part.  Once you have enough money, get the perminant stopper and the center one, set em up and beat the level, move on.  Just dont be silly and remember to set back your lower bumpers if you get pushed down  .  But an easy game and I enjoyed it.  Only Pinball game I own
  • Spiritual Warfare is done.
  • I could finish bards tale tonight, but I want to grind some just to have some fun. It'll most likely be done tomorrow. I've got a billion and a half tons of work around the house so not sure if I'll do much after this one for a bit or not; I'm also playing Soloman's Club now and then for the GB one (Got me a gameboy player, and using the GDI software for it)
  • Baby Boomer is done. And I've set a new personal best for points in a year. My next completion will put me over 500 for the first time.
  • You're both on the threshold
