    They are, by far, the best hard case form factor I've seen for the NES.

    Wish they were around back when I did the cases for the Battle Kid LE's.  These would have made a much cleaner final product.

  • I actually don't mind the Bitboxes, but I only have it for one (somewhat) expensive game. The rest of my games sit out for easy access.
  • Put em in a big pile! I'm more of a universal games case kind of guy for aftermarket
  • I don't see a "buy in bulk" option for those of us who'd buy 100+ cases off of http://www.customgamecases.com/#!online-store/c1m9j/!/SNES/c/13259209/offset=0&sort=nameAsc ... I'm assuming you'd have to message the site owner to get discounts?

    There's bulk buying on the site;

    http://www.customgamecases.com/#!online-store/c1m9j/!/NES/c/13271935/offset=0&sort=nameAsc
  • These look pretty nice. One question: how close in size are the Shadowfox cases to actual NES boxes? I was wondering if someone could describe how close or far apart they are in terms of dimensions.
  • I don't actually have a single NES box so I couldn't say. I'd say they are for sure thicker though

    Ahh I see, just blanks.
  • I case all my NES games in CGC "Shadowfox" cases. My SNES and N64 are in UGCs right now but that will change as soon as Fox puts out his new cases. They're high quality and the manual clips are great if you have manuals.
  • Shadowfox's are by far better, I've been using them since the ability to pre-order the gb/gbc/gba cases.

    Here's some comparsion pics of an OG NES box to the Shadowfox ones. As you can see they're slightly wider but almost the same height.

  • The fact that they have manual tabs on the inside is very cool, no doubt.

    But like others have said, seems pretty silly to pay 4$ a case for 1-2$ sports titles lol.

    I am pretty curious though: he mentioned The Cover Project on his site and thanks them, but do those thanks translate into him giving that site some sort of kick-back money for basically providing him with the printable material necessary for his business to exist in the first place? If I was him, I'd toss that site $, perhaps even a flat % of my monthly sales as a "thanks".

    No problem, glad I could help. If you need any measurements just holler.

  • Might go with the shadowfox as well for my $100+ carts . The common's will stay in shelves with sleeves from videogameprotectors.com
  • I have a couple hundred ShadowFox NES cases for sale if anyone is interested. I sold off a lot of my collection and no longer need them.
