Looking for some feedback :-)
Hey guys, last year I decided I wanted to put my programming skills to use in my spare time and develop something that would be for the hobby I love. The problem is I'm a one man show and I often make decisions without anyone elses opinion. This can be good or it can be bad. This is why I am asking the community for some feedback so that I can make the site as good as it can be. :-)
I have a crap ton a data and would love to use it in different ways if anyone can think of any statistical analysis that could be usefull to the community. I was considering having a section for charting these different statistics and trends. Also I believe I could setup a section to keep track of box only and manual only auctions (at least for NES, SNES and N64) and store a picture of the item.
Really I want to know what the community would want and thinks would be usefull.
Anyways let me know what you think!

^ This sounds interesting and could be a good reference for the community. Good luck with your site.

Thanks GreatGadon. I feel that as a long as a picture and the items description was saved it could be useful.
Still looking for some feedback. Any input, positive or negative would be greatly appreciated!
Do your prices reflect with shipping or not including it? It really doesn't matter I guess for the more expensive games but would be important for the commons. Figured id give you my .02 as I am sure you and others would want this to be as accurate as possible.
That is exactly the feedback I need. The prices do not include shipping. I struggled with the idea for a while and ultimately decided not to.
I will be making a note of that and the next release will include that information.
Thanks Nes Gangsta!!!!
When I browse to a game, the list of completed auctions looks good but probably too long. I think you could also have a "current auctions" list, default sorted by price, and add an indicator for BIN. That would make it more likely people will follow the ebay link and buy so you get paid
Excellent advice Bunnyboy! Now that you say it, my ebay secton does look a bit bland. I have been looking for a reason to do an A/B test (havent done one yet). I believe that would be a perfect case for one.
As far as the 'current auctions list', I actually have this built into the site but I am currently not displaying it. The problem was, there arn't that many auctions for individual games these days. Also I was having a hard time determining how to display one or just two listings so that the page still flowed well. Maybe a stacked view for those instead of a side by side approach would work. Probably something I should reassess.
Thanks again for the input!
pretty neat. hope you keep the pdfs up that would make it more useful than vgpc to me(hard to navigate on my phone). a few times in my 'zoomed' browser virtual boy ended up being placed below the dark grey bar and the grey on blue is basically unreadable.
Thanks for the feedback Chroma and thanks for finding that bug with the virtual boy header! It is not supposed to be like that.
