Need Help Cleaning Label

Anyone have any ideas on removing some kind of dried substance from a label? Might be some kind of soda. I'd really like to get this label as clean as possible

EDIT: You people are life savers. A Toothbrush and Goo Gone did the trick. There's still a little label damage as seen in the left pic but I believe its under the label. Thanks so much!

  • I've cleaned crap like this off labels multiple times using a q-tip with the tiniest bit of goo-gone and distilled water; being mindful to rub very gently in circular motions and it came right off.
  • I have cleaned up a few labels with a Q-tip and 91% isopropyl alcohol. Stay on the glossy part of the label and avoid the edges and something like soda should come right off.

As for the edges though, not sure. Getting them wet can lead to some cosmetic issues as the alcohol will seep in. Perhaps a *very* lightly dampened Q-tip or a gentle use of a soft-bristled toothbrush?
  • Yeah, 91% ISO and a bit of gentle elbow grease.
  • Thanks for the responses. I will try these options out tomorrow.
