NES hookup: Rf switch w/audio

I dont have what I need to test this yet, but if I were to hook up an RF switch from NES to television, could I still hook up an RCA audio cable from NES to amplifier?  I just want to know if when the RF switch is plugged in, if the NES will still ouput audio.  Thanks!

    It definitely does. As a kid I used to use my Konami Laser Scope to listen to game audio with the TV turned all the way down so my parents wouldn't complain about having to hear me playing and make me turn it off. I suspect that video might also be output via both RCA and RF simultaneously as well but have never had a reason to test that out; if you do investigate that, let us know!
