Caught first two episodes. Liked it especially the nostalgic first one for the reunion. Apparently it's getting ripped by critics but I'll always love me some Uncle Jesse. He was like my childhood distant uncle I never knew

Definitely a devils third situation. Critics are looking for something different apparently. I have no idea what they were expecting. A good majority of what I have read , Im seeing a more positive reaction among viewers
I hated Full House. My sister used to watch it and Danny Tanner drove me insane. That being said, my sister would watch it everyday when she beat me to the remote and there were a few episodes I enjoyed. I have seen a lot of the original. My girlfriend made me watch a few episodes last night and I really like it. There are a lot of cringe inducing scenes that are common with those crappy newer Disney sitcoms. I liked all the nods they did to the original show and how they straight up put mary kate and ashley on blast for not doing it.
My major complaint with it is that it's missing the music between scenes. Just the scene transition music being gone, made me feel like I was watching one of those crappy Disney shows. Hopefully someone knows what I am talking about because it's kind of hard to explain.
The episode with Bob Saget being upset that the couch got ripped and needs new upholstery cracked me up. Gibbler and Stephanie are still the best characters too.
Full house is great. Shelby bought me the box set for Christmas She hates it so I watch when she goes to sleep lol

Hahaha you got a good girl though if she will buy you that even though she hates it. Fucking Danny Tanner used to make me rage so hard. I was like 10 and couldn't believe someone as lame as him could exist. Then I watched Bob sagets stand up and realized how lame he thought the character was too. Haha
Joshua Tanner was a name I used to use when I was getting in trouble. Anytime a teacher or authority figure asked for my name I'd just say Josh Tanner.
Always loved FH and am thrilled with the new series. I've only had time to watch the first two episodes, but I'm stoked to see them all. I I've probably watched the original series all the way through eight or so times.
Added bonus is that piece of shit Michelle isn't on it. Always hated her.

Just saw the episode featuring Lucha wrestling. Holy shit. DJ Tanner had some legit moves! No stunt double. I was impressed! Decent form on the hip toss and spinning head scissors takedown. You go, Cameron
I've watched several episodes so far. I enjoy it, but let's be honest. It's cheesy, campy, stuffed full of fan service and overall pretty bad. And that is just fine. The original Full House was just as bad and we all still love it anyway. I'm throughly enjoying the new show.

lmao wow. you hated the baby that much?
Haha she was only a baby for so long. By season 5 she was insufferable.
I watched the first episode. Veryyy skeptical going in but so far so good. I was kind of cringing expecting Bob Saget to drop a f-bomb just based on the kind of comedy he does these days lol.
I loved full house as a kid. Was kinda forced by the lady to watch this. Its surprising easy to watch. And theres almost something a episode i find really funny like the volcano comment, dj being an amazing wrestler, and dj dj tanner
I finished watching all of the episodes earlier today.
It's not as terrible of a show as I had originally thought, because I did laugh out loud quite a few times, and it kept me entertained. Although if it wasn't a throwback to a show that I loved when I was 10 years old, I wouldn't have watched more than half an episode today at 31 years old.

...and Kimmy wasn't looking bad either, FYI.
Ditto! Perfectly stated. 12 episodes in myself and it's a pretty solid show actually. The plumber scene brought back major miscommunication flashbacks of Three's Company lol. But yeah if I had no nostalgic connection to these actors then I wouldn't have gone out of my way to watch it. There are some gem lines sprinkled in there.

Watched the first 4. The first episode was what it needed to be. Just a big cheesy reunion with all the old jokes. If the whole series was that corny it would be awful, but it was just that one. The later episodes were just fine and about what I expected, which is a good thing. I think it's solid. Right combo to give the intended audience what they want, as well as be entertaining to kids who haven't watched the original.
This was an exact quotr from a guy i follow on twitter
"Remember the wort shit you ever had? Foul, ranid diareha. Fuller house is worse"
So that and everything else i heard i was expecting a train wreck.......but i thought it was good. Pretty good light hearted stuff. Nothing ground breaking but way better than i heard. Stephanies boobs looked very real. Vety big but very real. Very real big. Mmmmmmm boobs
Just finished it. A- for Full House fans but a solid B for the general audience. I actually quite enjoyed it, and hope season 2 will be a go. It would be epic to get Michelle for one episode.
I haven't watched it yet but I loved Full House as a teen and still watch it from time to time when it's on. I'm ditching cable next week so I'll be getting Netflix and I'll probably binge watch it like I do Big Bang Theory and The Middle via On Demand.
We finally got around to resigning for Netflix and watched the first episode. Damn did they knock it out of the park with that one. Many people don't seem to realize that Full House was cancelled, it never had a proper finish. That was 21 years of nostalgia in the making, along with pulling in the new kids nicely. The original cast and crew must have bawled their eyes out after they finished filming that. Finishing with the singing of The Flinstones theme around the crib actually gave me goosebumps. There wasn't much need to play it side by side with the 1987 version, I immediately saw what they were going for. I had a friend that though it totally sucked, but I'm on the total opposite spectrum, big home run.
I like how there are more adult situations like drinking and jokes and what not. However it is very strange because there will be very cringy corny moments and then actually funny adult jokes. The show is about as much as anyone could expect from it.

target demographic is the fans of the show who mainly are 25-35. So its a line of following the style of full house but something theyd enjoy more.

I thought this was going to be about that kid from Home Alone that is going to wet the bed and pee all over me.
HA!
Heard it got picked up for another season
