I started watching it with my fiancee and we both thought it wasn't too bad. It's very cheesy but still entertaining and even funny at times. I grew up watching Full House with my family so it's kind of surreal to see them all again.
I honestly enjoyed Fuller House and hope it continues. And it was cute in the first episode Stephanie was holding the baby and apparently sensing he's a little "breast man" she told him "hey, my eyes are up here!" And I like how they do special nods to past Full House episodes for those who were big fans and can pick them up...for example remember the Full House episode where Danny tells Stephanie and Michelle how nice it was for them to watch the neighbor's dog...but then the girls say that "Scruffy's not your typical dog..." (hint Scruffy goes oink oink). And the Fuller House episode has a couple of the kids watching a pet named Spot...only to find out Spot is not your typical dog (hint: the name comes from the "spot" left behind upon biting! It's Buzz's pet from Home Alone ). I even liked how they brought back Dwayne ("whatever...") of all the past guests!
And don't laugh at me for this but I also really dig Girl Meets World for the same reason as Fuller House.
I can't get into it. I watched the first episode and couldn't handle any more. Probably feel the same way about the original series by I'm not going to give it a shot. If it weren't for Stephanie Tanner, the new show would be unwatchable. Seriously, Staphanie Tanner, you guys. Damn!

the first episode is different than most of the show. They threw in all their fan service cameo, and the fact its just new makes it feel weird
But the show is actually not bad. I watched both seasons. Enjoyed it enough to keep watching.
Lets preface with:
1) You need to be a fan of sitcoms especially 80s, 90s
2) You probably have needed to grow up on full house and like it enough
3) Its comfort entertainment. Its not the best show, and its not supposed to be. Its the canned ravioli of TV. We enjoy it because its easy to cook(watch)
This show was done so much better than Girl Meets World imo. They just missed the boat on that show. So many problems. The show airs randomly, out of order, and it just feels off. The lessons are forced, Riley is a nutjob( in real life and on the show). I like Fuller House way better. It knows what it is and does it well.

I am definitely a child of 80s/90s sitcoms and watched tons of Full House. I will give it another go but I'm not in the same head space regarding my appreciation of sitcoms. Maybe some Chef Boyardee would help. I watched very little Boy Meets World so I'm not interested in that reboot anyway.
My favorite episode of Boy Meets World is the one where Cory gets to be a teacher...I'd love it if Riley got a chance like that to learn a similar lesson. And again don't laugh at me for saying this but I'm quite envious of her happy personality (yes I know that's her character, not necessarily her behind the scenes but you get my point), obviously a result from what kind of parents she had...I only wish I could've lived in even a fraction of that sort of positive environment growing up

Damn, Stephanie.
