Nintendo History Class

I thought you'd all enjoy this, so I'm going to share my story with you.
My mother runs a daycare at an arts school, the kids range from 8 years old to 13. Every once in awhile I will go in, play with the kids, talk to them etc. I always talk video games with them and they love it.
Now because it's an arts school they do arts based activities: drawing, dance, music, etc. After school all the girls usually partake in extra dance classes and the boys in the daycare are boooored.

So I decided to pitch an extra video game "class" to the parents, to go in and teach the history of video games and go through it all. They loved the idea, they loved the kids playing games that WEREN'T COD4 and they loved seeing the games that some of them played, being played by their kids. It was the first time ever some of these kids had played the first mario, or even heard of where Yoshi came from.

Here are some pictures:

Like aaron said, welcome to Canada. Toronto has one of the highest asian populations in the west. In fact, English is our official language, french is our second but when you go to an ATM the language order is: mandarin, english and then french.
  • That is so cute. image

  • HAHA, you have to photoshop some clever title or something into this picture, because it's just perfect...
  • OMG that is sweet, man I wish I had a class like that back in school, I don't think I would have ever left image

By the way, were they doing the thing where they go to jump or move, but move their whole arms (or bodies) along with the controller? I always found that funny and my little nephew always does it haha.
