Help! I need some guidance in what to do, I think I'm affected by the CIB bug...
Hello fellow members,
I've been collecting loose NES games for my personal collection in the last weeks. I was only collecting games I like to play.
The problem is, with all the CIB goodness being posted in this forum I think I would like to go the CIB way for these games I like to play...
I'm not rich by any mean, so, what should I do? Sell what I have right now and buy CIBs right off the bat? Ask for box, manuals and other stuff? Ask to trade + giving some cash? Go suicide myself and begin a new life? I really dont know... ![]()
Any tips or guidance on what you would do if you were like me and on a budget.
Let me know and have a nice day all!

For many common games, it is very possible to find a matching manual and box without too much effort. However, for a lot of the higher end / hard to find stuff, I think it'd be easiest to buy it CIB and sell off your loose cart.
Just my .02
Completing my existing carts will propably be a pain right? I guess I should sell and beging a new... Cash is low right now so keeping everything and buying CIB is out of the question. That's why I envisaged selling them to buy some CIB... Also someone that doesn't mind a loose copy but got a CIB one I could trade with him + a little cash.
if your are looking to fill nostalgia and you feel CIB is going to fulfill that best, then collect CIB.
Jonas has a lot of CIB for sale, message him, get an idea of what is what and how much, then decide if you want to sell your stuff or move onto looking for boxes and manuals individually.
edit*** buying complete CIB to start is probably easier though, if you are not too far along.
But I'll still go the CIB right off the bat way I think.
Thanks all, your help is appreciated!
Yeah the best manual lot in awhile was the one that ended the other day... had like 135 manuals and it ended somewhere around $2 per book, terrible price, couldn't believe how high it went. But sign of the times.
since when is $2 per manual for a larger lot a bad price?? unless they were absolutly all very common and in bad condition..
