My CIB NES Collection

Just got my new shelving unit in my new console room and have my boxed NES games out on display now.  I've attached a bunch of pics, I got a little lazy on the last few, but you get the idea. Also shown is a nearly complete boxed Colecovision collection (you think NES games can be tough to track down, try boxed Colecovision games).

Anyway, I'm closing on 650 boxed games, most with instructions. Still haven't figured out whether I'll be bagging or boxing these, but I suspect I'll probably just box up the more valuable stuff just to be safe.

I'm still digging out some other stuff as well (2600, Atari 8-Bit, SNES) that I'll post at some point.

  • Forgot to add that there are two rows of games on each shelf. I didn't really want to do this, but it was the only way to everything on one shelf.  At some point I'll probably reorganize the order and put the nicer stuff in the front.

It pains me to see what appears to be a very nice F2 box that isn't in some sort of protector. image

    Very nice collection, dude.

  • I like the grouping of games by company, not alphabetical. looks really nice. Nice work.
  • ^What Tusker said. Major kudos on organizing by publisher image. That is a stupendis looking collection! And yes, if you ever need to find a home for the Flintstones 2, you've found the right place, lol.
  • Nice man, I too organize by company and love the look!
  • damn, that is sexy indeed! Nicely done
  • nice i like the colecovision to. it was the first system i ever got. got it for Christmas of 82 i think.
  • Looks all good, well organised.
  • Saw Cheetahmen II in there as well.

Great looking collection. I think it looks a bit better displayed by sorting by publisher than an standard alphabetical sorting. Good call.
  • Awesome collection.Where did you get that shelving unit?I need a new one.
  • Awesome set. I can't believe that you had that sitting around in storage somewhere. Shame on you.
  • Trust me I didn't want them in storage that long, but I got heavy into the coin-op stuff about 12 years ago and lost interest at the time. I'm really glad I hung onto everything though, I love having them on display now and being able in fill in some holes in the collection is fun again.

They are much easier to store and display than arcade games...
