  • That's cool as hell.
  • There was a topic about them some times ago, they're cool as shit, but too expensive for me. If someone could get them at a reasonable price I would get one for sure !
  • Anyone who deals with plastic mouldings willing to chime in on what it would cost to get a mould created, then a rough per unit cost?
  • Bunnyboy, you made some carts, what about NES tops image ?
  • i messaged the seller. he said he makes them him self and i could have one for $66

thats a little too steep for my wallet.

id like to have the blue one myself personally

  • Their stuff is way overpriced. Every bit of it. I dont see how they sell it.
  • There is no way someone makes these themselves, they have to be produced somewhere. I think they look stupid as a top only, but a full NES would be awesome for sure. I am sure you could get these made, but you would have to prob. get at least 1k-10k units to get them cheap enough to make much money on them. Plus the cost of getting a die made would prob be over 500-1k at least.

  • Its not injection molding, thats how they make in low quantities. Using a silicone or urethane mold they can be made one at a time. Won't be as accurate or strong as something from an injection process, but way cheaper for low volume!

To do injection would be ~$10K minimum for the mold, then $5-10 per part (1000+ minimum order). No way that many will sell!
  • they look pretty cool...

the seller has only jacked up the auction $10 from there regular nes price....

they must be making them for less than that..
  • They look nice but I don't like it. If it doesn't have the "Nintendo Entertainment System" letters on it then it looks chessy. I'd prefer CUSTOM NES GUY's NES systems then this.
