Sorry to hear about this man. At least it seems that there is some evidence in your favor. Like Quazonk said, what goes around comes around so hopefully the guy ends up accidentally eating some shit or something, and of course gets caught for this ordeal.
sorry to hear about your loss Luckily 99% of people are not douche bags. I too have been scammed out of $120. Nothing in comparison to your loss, but it just makes you second guess stuff sometimes when you buy and sell, which is unfortunate. Kinda crazy that paypal didn't side with you on this. What sucks is it's hard to prove what you actually shipped, which means the buyer can pull crap like this. How do you prove what you sent? Even if you take pictures ahead of time, the buyer could just claim that you took a pic of the real thing and shipped them a fake game. Paypal should've refunded the buyer and let you keep your money, and suck up the loss, especially because you have proof of what you sent. Best of luck in resolving this!

I would think that the screenshots above showing him selling or wheeling the exact same items on his Facebbok page would be enough proof that he swapped/did not return the items.
These game wheels are literally federal felonies and I think at a state level they're also felonies in most of not all states.
The IRS also considers raffles as illegal gambling unless done by certain non-profit organizations and cannot do them online in a regular manner not can raffles be a primary source of the nonprofits funding.
Also, back when I tried to play in a game wheel I found out it's literally illegal to participate in one even unknowingly!
I believe there are also provisions that restrict people from winning a generic item that just so happens to include a grand prize, as they're the same provisions for gambling since its literally considered gambling.
In otherwords, if you playing with game wheels then prepare to get screwed because they're not exactly legitimate or friendly.
TSCRANVGAT auctioned off a NWC Grey cartridge and there was a whole thing that went on with that despite them being "legit" for months of not years or so.

Wow I didn't even see that. what a piece of crap that guy is. game set match. this guy needs to return that game or pay up
Anyone else wondering if the guy in the wheel group got scammed as well? He obviously didn't win the box as it was sent back to the OP. What a freaking mess. This guy could (and should) do some actual jail time.
I just watched the video. I guess my first question is did you take any pictures of who actually sent that package? it goes so quick that I have no idea who sent it to you. It boggles my mind that someone would scam you halfway. I mean why send the real box? Was it by chance the winner of the raffle that sent the game to you? If so then perhaps something shady happened after it left Davids possession. Normally when I send high dollar items I take a video of me packing it up or at least pictures making it clear I am sending an authentic game and packing it well. I wonder if David has any of that proving that he sent authentic stuff. Just some thoughts since so many people were involved it seems that perhaps a third party could have even scammed the guy wheeling it. I don't know what happened just questions. I hope it all works out for you. Cheers.
bump for you....this story is unfortunate to read, I would listen to fellow member on hear and I would bug the living hell out of paypal until someone there is willing to actually hear the story. That guy is such a scumbag man
Thank you all for support and digging up the truth behind this! Yeah, It doesnt need a Sherlock to see the game, box and manual are the exact same that I sold to David, that he sold off in this wheel (I dont even know what that is or how the hell that works, but seems shady). I have all the screenshots sent to Paypal on the matter, showing the details etc.
But yea, he could have not sent me the original in the end of november since the game was already sold in end of september (sept 29th to be exact in the facebook sales post screens). Just talked with one guy in facebook who knows these guys personally, and he suspected David sent the original box back just to get it harder for me to claim the whole thing back.
The sale of this box is on hold now, untill this mess is sorted out - I have filed a police report on this and will be delivering it to Paypal as soon as I get the official document out from the police department (sadly in Finland they do not hurry with things like this...)
Man, that video legitimately hurt me to watch. I have no words for people who do things like that. I have faith you will be victorious in the end. Keep pushing the police report, and proof you have. Keep in mind different paypal employees may swing one way or another, there are some REALLY poor employees on there. Also, huge props to the NA sleuths tracking as much as they can about this guy. Anxiously awaiting hearing good news!
Wow dude. I hope they throw the gavel at this guy. Throw in some additional charges for the illegal raffle scheme. I would never trust that shite to begin with. The dealer could easily set up a "buddy" to win the prize in exchange for a cut...
Yes it is the real david for trolls out there. I wouldve responded sooner if my approval to this page was approved quicker.
First off - Id like to start here by saying do not be quick to judge a video. I have a few concerns - but I too have documentation of what was sent & what was shown.
First of all - the buyer of the game from me (i am respecting his privacy) stated that Flintstones Box was indeed a "repro/fake".
1) The Color of the box is more vibrant/brighter compared to other Dino Peaks
2) There is ink bleeding thru the inside of the box
3) The Box smells of fresh ink
4) The buyer has stated multiple game stores & collectors stated the box was fake.
5) Yet alone - Why was the box missing "REV-A" on the bottom right?
Therefore in good faith - I ended up buying another Dino Peak CIB to make this entire situation right. I filed a claim immediately after confirming the box smelled of "fresh ink" to make sure I got my money back. (And for the trolls - u better believe I have pictures and screenshots myself)
I absolutely have documentation myself. There is a reason Paypal ruled in my favor.
And not acusing Matti - but why was my "package" so easy to open in the first video? Almost like it was opened prior to the video? I have a dozen questions at this point - but I am a man of integrity.
I will not respond further. Matti - feel free to message me on FB or here.

You can't have that much integrity if you run a game wheel.
You got balls for posting here, I'll give you that.

First, please do not call this community trolls, we have plenty of experts here that know what they are talking about.
Secondly, regardless of box, why would you swap the cart and send back a reproduction cart? If you did buy a fake game, you'd be covered by Paypal buyer protection and you should send the EXACT item back. Instead of pocketing an $800+ cart and swapping a $25 repro. That's felony theft and mail fraud.
Thirdly, all of those points are easily refuted. Thankfully Pheidian posted PLENTY of pictures in his FS thread.
If you look at the bottom right, you can see that the Rev-A is there, and it looks like it was colored over in black marker. He even mentioned it in his thread. I quote: "Box has black marker over the REV-A text in front."
So that explains why the box may have had an ink smell, and your "multiple" game stores / collectors have no business owning items they can't confirm themselves. Box is legit. Fakes are very easy to spot with a trained eye and this is not one of them.
Jone, this guy knows his shit. I checked his Instagram yesterday and he's got dozens of photos of himself posing with rare/high dollar games. He's playing dumb/victim and poorly.
As a personal collector of video games, and someone who is seriously strict on conditions of items, i would trust anyone on here selling high level items as being legit. If you truly had an issue, there are a couple things to look into:
Ask for pictures of board to prove the authenticity of the product itself - from personal experience of insider knowledge, those chip prints are almost impossible to forge
Confirm through video of the person selling the product with a tag with their user name to confirm the item
You also dont wait 2.5 months, and send back half the product. Anyone selling items here knows that if they screw one person, they screw the community and they arent going to do that to make a quick buck. You do have some serious balls, but not as big as some of the users here.

I'm confused at what your story is. So you bought this and upon arrival didn't immediately open the cartridge, see it was a repro, and contact paypal? Or are you saying the box ONLY was fake and then you just decided to keep the original cart and manual? Then to get your money back, you hit up aliexpress, waited the 6-8 weeks it takes for them to ship the fake cart, and returned that instead? I guess that explains why you waited so long to file a claim, probably just couldn't get the fake in from China quick enough.

OMG im rolling at this. Chances are that is exactly what he did. Especially since if you look on their page, it states that those items take about 6-8 weeks. Any reputable buyer would have had that case open, photographed and contacted paypal that day. Anytime i purchase higher end (over $100) i crack that case first thing. This guy walked into the lion's den with a piece of steak hanging out of his zipper and is wondering why his junk is missing.

I did that before and had success after being scammed out of $1000. Once the FBI sent the guy a letter he mailed me my items right away.

Aloha,
Yes it is the real david for trolls out there.

You're implying that he had a nutsack to begin with.
