E3 2016 is just a few weeks away. Are any other members planning on going?



I think that Nintendo's Zelda booth is going to be pretty interesting. Hopefully they deliver a memorable experience, especially since it's the only thing they'll be showing.

    Not even going to watch it. Nintendo having nothing and not even a direct pretty much means im zero percent interested.

    Don't you still have to be either invited or some sort of member of the industry or press to attend? If so, I'd say the vast majority of folks wouldn't even be able to get in the door, at least not legitimately. It's been years since there was anything of significant interest debuted or showed off there, so I'm definitely not going.

    If I was aware anyone could go, and if I knew when this years E3 was going to be, then I totally would've gone.

    Like darkchylde28 mentioned, you have to be a member of the industry, so technically not everyone can go.

    Yeah iam looking forward to the Zelda and nintendo booth particularly. I tell you what from one collector to another if we do run into each ill buy lunch. This will be my first E3 since the 90's so its a long time coming.

    What I wouldn't have done to have been at either of the first two E3 shows.....now I wouldn't be that interested even if they were open to the public

    E3 gets smaller and less interesting every year. I can't really believe it's anything outside of an "Investor event" much like CES.



    I really enjoy just hearing announcements about games every few days or weeks through game media sites and youtube. It's just whatever to me nowadays that stuff like this exists with the way modern information is spread like wildfire.

    I've been going every year since 1999. Really looking forward to this year for a number of different reasons. I believe Nintendo will have more to show than just Zelda, although it will probably be virtual console and 3DS titles.



    I'm curious to see how the industry reacts to the PS4K and the Xbox Scorpio. You know those "next gen" console you bought two years ago? Yeah, well now they're obsolete. This move could either be successful, as it is in the mobile phone market, or it could be the 32X of this generation. I'm thinking it will push more people towards the PC market.



    I'm excited about E3 Live. I'm glad the public finally gets to enjoy some of the E3 goodness. It's always my favorite time of the year.

    I do like the setup ( it's like chill and chaotic at the same time )

    Nah, I'm a patient gamer



    It takes me a year to get to most games, I never pay more than $30 for a modern game and I need all the bug fixes and DLC out before I consider buying.



    Also it filters out hyped up crap (Watch_Dogs) from good stuff (Bioshock Infinite)



    So I won't play anything from this years e3 for at least a year and a half.





    ...also I still never played Fallout 4. So I've got SE serious backlog

    When is the Genesis Everdrive going on sale?



    As for E3, I really enjoyed Sony's presentation last night and I'm hoping Zelda meets expectations.

    I knew it was RE once he picked up that tape...you just get that feeling. Plus I think that gameplay was only if you were using the VR.

    I have been going to the show since 1999. This is the greatest booth I have ever seen at E3.

    I went to Target yesterday to buy this reservation card for Breath of the Wild for Wii-U. It's $1 and they hold a copy of the game for you for up to 2 days after the release date. The receipt says Return by 1/24/2017.. Is that the release date for the game?



    I was thinking maybe that's the last day I could return the card for a refund but from 11/27/2016 to 1/24/2017 is 58 days.. Thats an odd number of days to allow for a return policy..



    Another question.. if this game has a pre-order promo gift, do you think I'll receive a gift for picking it up with this card? The card isn't technically a pre-order because I still have to pay for the game in full when I go to pick it up.. I've email Nintendo asking this question, not to really ask them, but more as a way of making them aware that I want the pre-order gift when purchasing it this way.
