Everything on ebay is RARE

Fking christ...RARE! The word is more played then tattoos these days. Everything on ebay is rare. I just want to choke a mf when i see an ad with the word rare in it, you seein' this shit? There's a mf right now selling a used Sonic the Hedgehog with the term RARE in the title.

  • Intelligent people are rare nowadays.
  • What's even more annoying is when something listed on eBay that is truly rare isn't advertised as rare. This really gives me an urge to kill whoever forgot to mention that his item is, indeed, very very rarez.
  • lol when i see:

    mario/duck hunt ULTRA RARE!
  • They don't make this stuff anymore, I hear that one all the time.
  • Contra

    RARE

    $20

Selling for $20 because it's so rare. And I'm selling 5 copies.
  • So rare!

    here ye here ye...

  • While i'm pointing out the obvious...here's another gem....this fucking VGA graded bs. You seein' this shit? omg when i see something vga graded i just want choke a mf. vga grading...fuck you.
  • And here's the trifecta...mfs who price things premium with no regard to the condition of the item. You seein' this shit? jesus H! mf has a game with the label completely torn off, stickers all over what's left of the label, a carving on the back that reads JAMES, ya but never mind all that it's still $49.99. There's a little something called appraising you fuckin bitch, it's standard practice whether you sell vijya gamez or antiques, assess the value you ball sniffing germaphobe! wtf is wrong with these people. what the F!!!!!!!
  • what about battletoads?
  • Those are my top 3

    1. RARE on things that are not

    2. VGA graded shit

    3. No regard for condition, premium pricing
  • 'rare' 'vintage' 'holy grail' and people listing things in 'great condition' when it looks like it went through a wood-chipper. They've lost all meaning in this hobby.

It's just as bad in person. As mentioned above, 'they don't make 'em anymore', 'oh those zelda/mario (insert any popular title) games go for hundreds of dollars now'.
  • I think it's silly when grown men grow upset enough over the foolishness of others to the point that they use little kid terms like omg, mf and bs as they pour their hearts into their online diary for the world to see so they feel better.
  • We should all start listing Stadium Events as "SUPER COMMON" and see if that starts a trend.

Its poetry of the 21st century. Where you been Jerbilly?
  • ALL NATURAL RARE
  • I like VGA.

When in doubt, slab it out.
  • I might be the only one, but this doesn't really bother me at all. Sure, the term has been watered down to the point of being a joke (as has been well documented), but I don't think people really think their items are rare as much as they throw the word into the headline as a keyword. They just want as many people searching for NES games (or any other games for that matter) to see what they have for sale. And by putting rare in their title, they're driving more eyeballs to their product than would otherwise be the case.
  • I just hate overpriced craigslist ads. There's one in my area where they are selling Mario/duck hunt for $25, Mario/ duck hunt/ track meet for $30, tmnt I believe for $30 and my favorite of them all Jordan bs Bird for $20. All games loose and he says prices are firm. People can ask what they want for their stuff it's just comical sometimes and those games will never sell. He even has some common games listed at only $5 so I scratch my head at those other game prices.

Someone please make a listing with a shirtless dude.

  • I just flat out refuse to use words like "rare" or such in my listings.

I'll mention if the item was limited edition though, as that's not really something that can be disputed.
  • There's nothing wrong with VGA. If I'm going to buy a sealed game, buying one that has been graded gives me 100% assurance that an expert has looked at it and determined it is authentic. Otherwise I'm just guessing from photos, that's a premium worth paying for.

There was one seller that, in every pic of every listing, he had is wife or gf or whatever holding the games right up to her tits. She had a shirt on, mind you, but it was a super low cut, and they were massive...

Your making the assumption the people doing the grading are experts. I dont care if people wany to grade their games buts i dont believe these people are experts
