I just beat Wacky Races

Overall, a pretty solid platformer, maybe on the easy side.  There are projectile and jump upgrades with plenty of 1-ups in the stages.  Most of the bosses were pretty fast moving and required a good number of hits (10+) but they all had a pattern that could be easily exploited.



Anybody else play this one?  What did y'all think of it?

    Yeah I picked it up recently, fun game. It is easy, but I still really like it. Reminds me of Felix or the Tiny Toons games.



    It is strange it's not a racing game. I mean, the cartoon Wacky Races was all about racing. You get to play as Muttley though, so thats a huge bonus.

    I think it sucks, boring as a motherfucker. I finished it just to have it done but really wanted to just turn it off and do something else instead.

    I enjoyed it a lot. It's been several years since I played the game but I do recall it being pretty easy. I for one like an easy game every now and then especially since I don't have near as much time to devout to a complicated game.

    Solid B-tier NES platformer. If you ever watched the show, you can enjoy how they pretty much crammed all the characters in as bosses.

    Have fun with Gremlins 2. It's a pretty decent game that I still haven't gotten around to beating yet.

    Gremlins 2 is great! Only beat it once though - and just because the final boss got stuck in a corner somehow...

    Good luck with Gremlins 2! It's a great game that I actually just beat for the first time yesterday. Not too difficult overall but the challenge really does ramp up around stage 4.

    I havent played it in a while, but I remember the boss fights being MUCH harder than the levels which was really strange.

    I've never played Wacky Races, but if you like somewhat easy platformers, Felix the Cat is actually really fun, and has a few fun mechanics in it. It's easy, but fun.

    I liked it a lot, same with Felix. Sometimes it's nice to enjoy an easy game, and both of these are pretty easy to beat on your first play. They are well made games though.

    I beat it when I rented it as a kid. I remember having a little trouble on a stage or two, but overall it was an easy experience. I also did have a good time playing it.
