Any kind of Sony site like NA?

I'm looking to get some rarer/obscure titles and wanted to know if there was a Sony site around like NA?

Not at Playstation guy, but I assume you can log on with your NA ID.
  • Yeah your NA login works at playstationage
  • Now why the hell did I not think of that? I did think of trying sonyage though.
  • I just want to know where to go for my Sega Genesis needs. I tried GenesisAge and even MegaDriveAge but no luck for this guy.
  • The worst part is if we were using the old site (vintage.nintendoage.com), you'd have seen "PlaystationCollecting" on the top left, right under "SegaAge".

I like the new layout, but it's missing some basic things that makes the vintage site much more useful

Where have you been living? Nobody calls it the Genesis, everyone knows it as the Sega! It's so easy to recognize! Master system, Sega, Sega CD, 32X, Game Gear, etc... Yeah it's a bit awkward, would have been nice if Sega gave the Sega a proper name, like Genesis or something... Oh well!

You know, truth be told, I merely refer to Sega games as nontendo tapes.

There was actually some knockoff game products from Mexico called Nontondo. They were just knockoffs of those Super Joy sets, except cheaper. Lady used to sell them at the flea market I worked at. Needless to say, the didn't fly off the shelves.

I avoid the vintage layout now because it looks inferior IMHO - but for anyone wondering, at the top right of this page you'll see a little blue tab marked "Sister Sites". Click that, and voila!

  • I demand MegadriveAge be a thing.

Maybe nobody in Canada, but where I grew up it was called the Genesis or Sega Genesis, for the few people I knew that had one.

Everybody I knew seemed to have a Super Nintendo, though.

    I call them 3rd-world Gamecasts.

Edit: Just checked out PSage and holy shit, I've never seen such an inactive-looking forum.

I was actually about to say that I hope the OP and others here come over and visit.  We need more traffic.  I could talk PlayStation all day long.

  • PSage needs more action for sure.

I like it there myself. I am only into PS collecting now.
  • Racketboy, vitalounge
  • Is PieAge a thing yet?

It looks nice, but there's just not enough traffic to make it worth the visit right now it seems. In the general purpose discussion forum, there is one post in the last week.

Sucks because I've been looking for a good place to sell things like limited-edition Playstations without the feeBay ding, but the FS forum there looks flatlined.

The feeling, I assure you, is mutual.

Same. Maybe Canada only got the Genesis? Maybe all Canadians are like our mothers in that they call everything a "Nintendo"

But it's exactly this line of thinking that keeps it dead... Somebody needs to post there to create the action.

And if you've never seen such an inactive forum, that just means you haven't made your way to SegaAge recently. #sadfaceemoji

If you post there you may be surprised. It's actually not as dead as this past week may make it appear.  Sure you're not going to get the immediate gratification like you do here but you're going to get some thoughtful insights.  Also a lot of the regular NTSC posters are members on here who do most of the trading posting on here for the extra traffic.

Well ok I mean I'm not writing it off altogether, was just going in there with high hopes that it might be something like NA in terms of user activity.

Hey come on now! We were a Genesis household!

We had a Game Gear as well, never had the Master System....didn't even know what the hell that piece of alien technology was.
