I'm assuming that does not count for the prototype, and I'm not sure about the new awards. Presumably only select admins can add them, and I don't know who the artists are or if they've done the work
I thought that may not count, but I thought I would give it a go anyway. Thanks for adding the other awards Brock. By the way, how did you like Advance Wars: Days of Ruin?
Anyhoo, applying for two more awards.
First, Metroid:
And Legend of Zelda (note, I subsitued the classic nes version of Legend of Zelda for the GBA for the NES cartitge, since I have not be able to locate it yet.)
Know whats funny. Few years ago I applied for the Zelda award, and got denied because I had the black Link's Awakening cart and not the grey one.
Here's one for the complete Nintendo console awards: A complete NES 3ds xl
Unless there's an award I'm not aware of for this, I believe the requirement is to complete a "set" of Nintendo consoles, not to own a "complete" Nintendo console; otherwise I imagine just about everyone would have that award.
I wasn't sure if this was worth doing. But figured i would bring it up anyway. Worst case i get a no.
Would it be possible, or would anyone be interested in having a badge for owners of PVM's? I feel like it would be cool to see via badge who is part of the PVM club lol
I know it isn't a huge accomplishment to achieve one like full sets and such. so it might not be badge worthy and that is what made me think it might be a no. But figured it still might be neat to see who has dove into the PVM world with a cool little PVM badge.

Color me noob, but what's a PVM?
A broadcast TV made by SONY used for video editing, basically the highest grade of CRTs you'll ever find. I really wish I had one, because I used to have a TV made for production at home until the miniDV tape player broke on it.
I wasn't sure if this was worth doing. But figured i would bring it up anyway. Worst case i get a no.

They are Sony professional Video Monitors that were around in the 80's and 90's and probably other decades too, i am not sure. But basically their picture quality is just about as good as you can get because of the high grade components in them. And they can be tweaked much easier with more options. They also use RGB.
They were used in broadcasting, video editing, hospitals(endoscopy tv's), etc.
They come in 400-800 lines. Mine is an 800 line so the picture is so good i can't even explain it. It something you just have to see. This is mine in my setup though.

Ah that's pretty cool. Around how much do these go for?
I paid $20 on eBay. Took a risk. Took me forever to find someone with a CDI and it is legit. If you want the experience just watch James and Mike. That is literally the whole game. I honestly don't see these being worth much in the future.
Still waiting for an Exertainment bike award and for the MBR/SR icon to be changed for cart OR CIB in the icon itself since it was clarified in the last icon thread.

neat, I had no idea about the value or rarity or anything. Just the history of it. Still think it's a cool piece
Ah that's pretty cool. Around how much do these go for?
They are NOT cheap. They are hard to find. And hard to find in good condition without issues. They also suck to ship.
I got lucky and ended up with two. One i got for free. A 20M2MDU which would have been $250.
And then i bought a 20L5 for $600. But i sold a bunch of stuff to get it, so it lessened the sting. I do NOT regret it at all. The 20L5 is so expensive because it can even do component. Still need the adapter though. I can't wait to see GC and PS2 in component on this thing.

check out my life in gaming on YouTube if you're interested in learning more.
The issue here, is they're friggin heavy, so you can imagine what shipping will cost. Best bet is finding a place that may have used them back in the day and seeing if they have any left and if they'd sell them
I wasn't sure if this was worth doing. But figured i would bring it up anyway. Worst case i get a no.

I think that's a great idea. I didn't go out and buy a pvm to not get a cool badge. Let's make it happen.
I like how you have a hole cut out in the shelf for the light switch. Also, WiiU set is that small?
Yeah, you'll notice that shelf is immediately at the top of the staircase too. I had to start cramming shelves everywhere I could.
At the current rate, I think every Wii U game will be on Switch by 2019. It's a shame Nintendo put out a tablet console that flopped so hopefully their next go putting out a tablet console with all the same games will go better

Haha yeah, they'll nail it this time! They should've just stuck with the wii another year or two and then went straight to the switch. Its essentially a better version of the WiiU, Its what it should've been to begin with.

Not sure, but I can assign if someone knows
I picked up another Amiibo to display along with the box on my shelf, so now have 5 extras:

I am extremely jealous of that.

Can I please have the Funtastic N64 set, Custom console, and test station badges added?
I love those N64 cases! They are really cool!
Game Boy (cart only)
N64 Cart Only. Kind of hard to take a picture because of the cramped room but the good stuff is on top of the shelf on the right:
CIB Sega CD:
CIB Xbox:
CIB Wii U. I don't think it's an award but maybe soon?
