Well there's no seeding, or home field advantage in any sense. So what's the point in killing yourself to keep up with bert when less than half of his total (and 16 points over the bare minimum for someone qualifying for participation each week) is going to be just as good at the end of the day?
Not trying to complain, or say the format is flawed; the field just naturally shook out this way. And I think we're primarily playing to collectively have a shared experience with 30+ games together, so winning is just the icing on the cake. But it will be interesting to see how things play out at the end.
