New amiibo line including a Zelda series...
Oh no! A dreaded amiibo thread. I honestly looked to tag this on to another amiibo thread but most of them were locked. New amiibos including SMB, DK, Splatoon, and Zelda. I don't know what to do as I already have way too many of these things and still have some of the DLC Smash characters to get. I'll probably grab Boo but don't have the room to double down on a lot of the ones that will be a duplicates. Zelda series looks pretty slick.

Zeldas are a must have, along with Boo and Waluigi. The rest I'm not too sure if I really want, or rather if I have the room to display them. I have all of the amiibo currently except for Mega Yarn Yoshi which I don't care to get, the Skylander ones (again, don't care), and then a few Animal Crossing ones I'm waiting to get a price drop (Timmy/Tommy, Lottie, and Isabelle)

Are you a NIB collector or loose? There are Japanese ones up on Amazon for 13.52 shipped if you just want the figure, which is about the normal price with tax included.

lol yup. I'm not in any rush, I'll find it when I find it. I will grab either loose or in box but will open it if it's in box. I just like them because they're nice little figures of Nintendo characters

Yeah i'm planning on getting the squid kids, inkling, Diddy/Donkey Kong, Wario, Waluigi, and Boo.
Now that all the BS has died down around Amiibos, they're a lot more fun to pick up whenever I feel like it.
not really a fan of the Zelda ones. still need to grab the Wolf Link one tho.

Yeah, I've always prefered the look of "real" Wario over his Wario Ware appearance. Really goes much better with his intended bad Mario identity.
Its official the amiibo craze is over lol. In previous releases there was a line out the door. This time i was the only one in the store and waited for them to find them in the back and unbox. My store got 20 of each amiibo fyi so i am sure these guys are going to be readily available.

And, yes, the craze is definitely over. I saw one other guy there that collects amiibo when there was at least 30+ people at some of the Smash releases. The only reason he was there was because Walmart didn't get Diddy or Donkey Kong for some reason.
Also, these amiibos look way better than the Smash series. The quality and production is much better in my opinion. Just waiting on the final 3 Smash characters now and might pick up the Wind Waker double pack when released.
