I don't have the funds ATM to drop on even used game stuff. Small business owner = use what you've got now bro. Way more excited for the newer games though after playing Crystal all weekend.
The new games will overload your senses after playing Crystal for awhile.
I played X on a buddy's DS for about an hour the other day and really enjoyed it. Oddly enough, there was no "shock" in transition other than more colors and better sound. I did quite well

I picked up X when it came out and I loved it! A bunch of my friends/family did as well and most of us hadn't played a game since Red/Blue. It was awesome and def was Not just a nostalgic trip. I already have preordered the Amazon Sun/Moon edition. If you're stepping into the world of the 3DS there are TONS of other games that are absolutely fantastic that are on the system and totally makes the system worth getting. If Sun/Moon, Ruby/Sapphire, X/Y are the reason for you to pick up a 3DS I don't think you can go wrong at all!

Awesome. That's pretty much what my intuition was telling me I've been doing a bit of research/YouTubing to catch up on things, and I must say I'm very impressed. I can't wait to play. Crystal is holding me over and keeping the Poke vibes high until then.

I can't believe how much smoother battles go, and how much EASIER catching Pokemon is over Crystal version. I caught a wild Pikachu within the first ten minutes, and had all six for my team within 15. I've caught over a dozen different Pokemon at less than two hours in now.

2DS has shipped and is on its way. I grabbed OoT 3DS at Target yesterday, and I'm snagging Pokemon X this weekend...finally!
