Nice... Pretty good indication it's a sweet game. Do you like any more notable/dank platformers/beat 'em ups? SMB, Ninja Gaiden, Batman?
Only Mario game I've beat is SMW on snes. I never owned SMB when I had a nes, and never got into platformers. I've played a bit of batman and NG, but not enough to really say on them. Also wasn't too keen on Contra games. I liked metal slug back before it was popular, due in part cause I played cyber-lip so much in arcades, but I stopped playing it when it got well known in the 2000s.
I think we are the exact opposite gamers. Haha, I know 100% for a fact that I've never beat a single RPG. I've never played one even close to finish.
My fiance and I gave up on Zelda LTTP because we couldn't find some hammer or something. It was like the second thing we had to do in the game, haha.

When he's facing the right, he lands a mean left hook. It's like his combo punch or something. But he certainly lands a big lefty.
Facing the left, his strong hand is the right one.... strange. BIG right hooks coming at dudes from the left.

In the final level..... after the Gravity Boss and a bit I think I reached the final boss.
I went into a big room and some robot morphed with one of the bosses (looked like the first one) and turned into the aforementioned Giant Pink Metal Terminator.
Is THAT the final boss???
If there are more of those it would be absolutely brutal.
That thing kicked my ass. The neat/good thing is that you start right there when you die. So I had a couple chances to fight it.
Just answered my own question. Yes, the Pink Terminator is the final boss.
Turns out you continue at the final section. There's some sort of ship you jump up beside avoiding all the rocket boosters.
If you get all 6 symbols you can turn into the Special guy and kick the final boss' ass in a metal vs. metal showdown. I still had to punch ass after my metal wore off.
Awesome game. Wouldn't say I beat it... Continued probably 6-8 times. Maybe 10....

But the continues are built in.. I probably continued 15 times but I beat it. I saw credits.
Yeah, they are... but I wouldn't consider it beaten because each time you lose all your lives you get a "Game Over" screen.
Sure, the continues are built in, but it still says "game over" and ends. I would say "completed".
Finish without any "Game Over" screens, that's beating a game.
Awesome game. Not as hard as others, but pretty difficult.
There should be a new game where you can play as Shatterhand or Kickmaster with two player co-op.
