Favorite Simpsons Games on all systems

Mine:

Simpsons Arcade Game - Arcade

Simpsons 1990 - Pinball

Simpsons Arcade Game - Both Commodore 64 and Dos versions

Bart Vs the Space Mutants - Nes

Itchy and Scratchy - Snes

Simpsons Road Rage - Gamecube

Other really good games:

Bart's House of Weirdness - Dos

Virtual Springfield - Dos

I'm still a fan of the other nes and gameboy ones, just not my all time favorites.

  • Arcade on 360.
  • Hit and Run and Virtual Bart. VB sucks for the most part, but the mini game where you throw eggs at the school kids is so fun.
  • Hit & Run (GTA-style), and Simpsons Arcade are the only ones worth playing IMO.

I have nostalgia for Bart vs. the Space Mutants, Krusty's Super Fun House, etc. But in this case I can see past the rose-tinted glasses.
  • 1. The Simpsons Arcade Game (not sure if it's available for download anywhere but it was available on PS3 but they took it down as far as I know)

    2. SImspons Road Rage (Crazy Taxi clone) - PS2/GCN

    3. Simspons Hit & Run (GTA style action game) - PS2 (GCN maybe?)
  • Simpsons Arcade and Simpsons Pinball are the only two that matter.
  • The arcade game is the only one I care for. I can't stand the NES ones these days.
  • The only Simpsons game that I ever really played was Bart's Nightmare and I didn't care for it much.

    Virtual Bart?

That one's got some decent Mini games. Some are stupid, though. I just love throwing eggs at people, haha.

    OP:

    1) Simpsons's Arcade (Play it all the time on my PS3)

    2) Virtual Bart, SNES

  • Hit and Run is the best
  • Simpson's Arcade (played this a ton at a local movie theater)

    Hit and Run

Honorable mention: Virtual Springfield (I had never heard of this until recently, and it's a shame, I would have loved this at the time of original release!)
  • Ill use this as a platform to bring this up...

WHY THE HELL did Konami not release this for the SNES?!?! (The arcade game of course)
  • Simpsons Arcade, 11 times out of 10, though I personally also loved Virtual Springfield; even though that's more of a walking sim than a game, it was chock-full of neat details and a fun time-waster.

Does seem odd, given that they already had a team that converted the Turtles games (and did it quite well)

  • Simpson's arcade hands down.
  • Simpsons Arcade

    The Simpsons Game was alright

Everyone else is pretty much terrible
  • The Simpsons arcade game. I remember this one was always the center of attention at the arcades in the early 90's along with Xmen and TMNT Turtles in Time.
  • Simpsons Arcade Game - Arcade
  • The ONLY Simpsons game I've ever enjoyed was the Simpsons Arcade game. I just couldn't get into any of the others including Hit'n Run.
  • Simpsons arcade game and Hit & Run for GameCube
  • I think the survey would be more interesting if you removed the Simpsons Arcade from the list since nothing comes close to it!! My choice if that was the case, would be NES Simpsons vs. the Space Mutants, which I only like due to nostalgia.
  • You guys should try the Dos and Commodore 64 version of the arcade game, they are pretty good. I own both original copies of them.
  • The arcade game is a top 5 arcade machine imo. Hit & Run and Road Rage are the only two I found bareable; Hit & Run being my clear favorite between the two...

I have no nostalgia for the game but still like it. It's a unique game for sure
  • I like Bart's Nightmare on the Genesis. Still pop it in once in a while to play the Indiana Bart stage.
  • Kristy's Fun House for SNES will always be special for me. Obviously the arcade game, I also kinda liked Bart's Nightmare. It was so bad that it made you want to beat it just to say you did to your friends.
  • Simpsons Arcade

    Bart Vs Space Mutants

    Bart's Nightmare

    Virtual Bart

    Virtual Springfield

    Simpsons Road Rage

    Simpsons Hit 'N Run

    The Simpsons Game

Hit 'N Run is probably the best Simpsons game ever and most don't realize it plays out like an original episode. Road Rage is one of my favorites because I played the hell out of it in the PS2 era. You can't go wrong with a great mix of humor and fun game-play. The Simpsons Game could've been so much better and it's still fun but Hit 'N Run is better IMO. Virtual Bart kicked my ass then and still does today. Space Mutants and Nightmare are the classics and first real quality Simpsons games. Virtual Springfield is often overlooked and there wasn't much in gameplay but it was funny IIRC. Simpsons Arcade was just one of the best to play with your friends at the arcade.
  • Simpsons Arcade, Simpsons Road Rage and Simpsons Hit and Run
  • Simpsons Arcade is obvious, I'm glad I have it on 360, but for a console release I rented none more than Virtual Bart. It probably helped that the game really came out when the Simpsons were at their most popular (and still fresh)
  • NES: Bart vs. the Spacemutants - Nostalgia...

Game Boy: Bart vs. the Juggernauts - The best of all the bad GB-games

Game Cube: Simpsons Road Rage - Spent a lot of time with that.

Wii: The Simpsons Game - Good gameplay, great humor: love it
  • Simpsons Arcade and Hit & Run are my favorites. I can't get into the NES or SNES games.
