I disagree. This is more along the lines of we are about to update a database and some games that are difficult to find are relatively cheap like 15 or less. People after doing work on the list just want to get it knocked out for a cheap price so they dont regret it later. They arent buying it with the hopes of it going up. They are buying it not to miss out. Not really speculation to me.
Most of the games people are buying arent going to skyrocket in price. If they see a bump theyll settle back down to where they should be eventually anyway.
Only a couple games were hyped up here imo. Kawasaki Superbike Challenge which I think is overhyped rarity at this point and Sink or Swim. In the grand scheme of things 2 titles that gained some heavy traction isnt that big of a deal
Anyways, I haven't heard back yet. Anyone know who all is a DB admin? I might just start annoying all of them. Or petition that they add me. Can't be too hard to just edit existing records
They should just add you as a DB admin. Brock gets shit done, no doubt. Maybe you can PM B.A. (not sure if he can give you access or not but he is an admin).
I have access to edit the database but as I've said before, I'd have to do it manually. I'm happy to do this it just may take a little time. I think I talked to Dain before about importing batch data into the database, but there were some issues with that and if I remember correctly it created a lot of headache. At a minimum, I could at least get started on updating information unless i hear otherwise that there is an easy way to do it via batch in one swipe.

Also, as a gotcha, my list is sorted by Excel. The DB sort isn't the same, so stuff like F-Zero, X-Zone, R-Type III etc, will not necessarily be in the same spot

As for all the variants that are saved right now as main releases, I don't have a good idea of what to do about those. I don't have delete permissions, and don't know if that is a possiblity since there may be a dependency on people having it in their collection. I also don't see how I can update the record somehow to be a variant
Picked up some games. Doing this rarity list made going through big stacks of snes carts way more fun.

Got GP-1 Part II for 7 bucks
Relief Pitcher for 7 bucks
Super Troll Islands for 10 bucks
Sterling Sharpe End to End for 2 bucks
Wolfchild for 10 bucks
and a few more cant remember off the top of my head.
lol It's definitely made me pay more attention to the "commons" rack. I passed on a Kawasaki with a messy label for $12 but have debated to go back at get it.
I did pick up Power Piggs for $7 and they had Cybernator at $6 for whatever reason.

I'd also say that the views need to be cleaned up so we're not seeing all the made in mexico variants by default, but that's another discussion
