Oh yeah? I don't hear you making a ruckus about my white chocolate macadamia nut cookies melting!
Reminds me of when I was in the army, it was around 32C (around 90F) and extremely humid, not a single cloud to be seen (until of course it was dinner time and we ate outside in a thunderstorm...), anyways, we had to dig trenches in that heat and I had ravioli in my ration pack, to warm it up, I put it on the black stock of my rifle (C7 pretty much the same as the M16A2) and it was warm enough to be eaten after 15 minutes; I guess it was around 120. The ration also included Hershey's Cookies and Creme bar and it was just a white liquid with some dark spots at that point.
And they only gave us one quart of water for the whole day; that was crazy when you think about it.
I work in an office that currently doesn't have air conditioning. The office also just happens to be located directly above a large annealing furnace. The mornings are fine, but the afternoons really get hot.
I've been hit in FL with 107 while working on the yard and never sweat that much before. Don't forget the mosquitoes.... THOSE DAMN MOSQUITOES!!!!! I swear the state flag should have it on there as a warning.
...The heat wave is centered in the midwest and will likely extend throughout the entire country with the exception of the Pacific Northwest...
Well, thank goodness for that, at least. I'll be up in Washington state next week and will enjoy the brief escape. But returning to the oppressive furnace that has been Texas this summer...I'm not so much looking forward to that.
This is a good point. Folks, be sure to change/check your radiator fluid. Even having a full resevoir isn't quite enough. Make sure your fluid looks clean and that you have the proper type of fluid for your vehicle. Some fluids offer lower temperature protection than others and with heat like this...
And never...never mix red and green fluid together. Just don't do it.
Had to replace the front wheel bearings on my wife's Trailblazer this weekend. It was 92 degrees, in the sun, and I was pouring sweat, but I got those mo-fos swapped out.
It's been the coldest summer we've had in a long time here. We had about five days of 90+ weather since the start of May, which is very unusual. Getting over 80 is a rarity this year. Right now we've got lots of clouds and rain. So no, it's not hot enough for me.

You won't mouth his southern parts, but you're up for a DP?
This explains the mod selection process...

You never wondered why they select us in groups at a time?

It's hard to do the elephant walk by yourself.

I think they call that "trunking"
Bring on the heat.
The hot summers is the reason I installed a pool.
Nothing makes the heat more tolerable quite like a pool.
Water popsicles help!
It is hot all around the country. Make sure to stay hydrated!

Can't wait for my car to overheat in AZ.

That and not driving in the mid-afternoon if possible.
I'll take high temps every day of the week over below freezing ones. No complaints here!
I second that! Screw any day where the low is below 45.
Hot streaks like this make me wish i lived in a mountain region
Man I hope what happened to me the other night doesn't happen to this nice young woman.
Pissing around on a skateboard and ended up getting real friendly with the side of my friends house.
Edit: The tree was about two times as big as the ones behind it. Not a huge tree but the roots went pretty deep.

I live right in a bunch of mountains, and the funny thing is that looks just like my gf in that picture lol
With that said it's still hot as hell here today (91F).
