Just did my first no death run of Super C
A few weeks ago I did a Contra no death run and since then I have been trying to do a Super C one. I tried a couple times a night and finally did it. Was defiantley harder than the Contra one. Always had trouble on Area 6 for a couple reasons with those mouth looking things then the part where the spikey red things come from each side. Once I got past that part I knew it would happen. Feels pretty good, not sure what I could try next and I think Contra are my best games and don't know what else I could no death.

Mega Man games are also pretty fun to no death, although they are pretty long. I've done 1-5... never got around to 6... yet.
Also, you can try to no death them again without spread (guessing that's was your main weapon).

Tough games (Contra & Super C) to no death. The one shot kills is brutal.
I can no death Contra (probably not anymore, but I'm sure I can no-continue it without the 30 lives code still), but I've never beaten Super C. Congrats! Do you think Super C is as good as Contra, or maybe even better?
I think it is just as good. Contra to me is barely better and I only think it's because it was one of my first games. What dissapointing is that they never made a third similar one like the first two. Contra force sucks conspired to those. Wish the went megaman style and busted a few more out. I know there's a couple hacks that I'm thinking about looking for.

Try no-deathing Legendary Wings. It's one of the easiest NES games to beat without dying.

Yeah, the fire is awesome in Super C. I almost prefer it for the last level where the ceiling drops and that line of 'bubbles' spawn above you. The splash damage really comes in handy.

I'm usually bad or mediocre at shmups. I've never made it past stage 3 in Life Force. And I no-deathed two loops of Legendary Wings.

I've always personally preferred Super C. The original is classic, but Super C rules. Alien Wars on SNES is my all time fave.
