I would think that too but look at the back.. Some red faded and some did not? My wife's brother passed away and t his was in his collection.. Which is why I have no information on it.. We have been told different things one because of an under line in the wording in back.. We have looked at h undress of these online m any in worse shape and none are this color he faded...
Thanks that sounds likely, I don't know if this means anything, it has an A stamped in the right hand side on the back and it has 05 stamped in the left hand side on the back.sorry for all the guestions,but I have had game store employees tell me they have never seen or heard of anything like it.

The 05 is just a batch number from the production runs. REV-A is a cartridge version of the game (they made the actual cart differently depending what year it was released, such as it having 3 screws, 5 screws, and so on).
It just looks like a faded front label of the earlier circle seal release of the game. I have one with a faded top label and it turned the same color.
