The bonus items that pop up give different scores from time to time. What is up with that?
No clue. Never bothered trying to figure out how to get them consistently or how to get the better ones if those two things are possible. I know the duck is worth 800,Santa is 1600 (only got that once) and the rabbit is 3200.
Getting the super hammer a second time is worth 3200 points as well!
I didn't put a ton of time into this game,so I'm sure my score is far from optimal.....not that I'm concerned about it. I'm completely fine with my current score.

I played around a little bit and got the golden hammer. Pretty cool and also neat that it changes the stage music. You also carry it over to the next levels as long as you don't lose a life. I'm still done for the week though.
Plus football season is fast approaching so I'll be turning my attention towards that....and fantasy football! If anyone wants to play in some NA leagues I'm sure there will be a few open spots for this upcoming season.
I like how you can choose a level so that you can play it over and over and over trying to fix your timing/mistakes. It makes such a difference unlike most games where you have to work back up to that troublesome level. Of course, it stings more when you get back to the level and still mess up after all that practice.
Sorry mbd. I was nipping at your score for the past couple of days. I kept dying in derp ways. I screwed up the stage pictured as well. It's not hard,but if you screw up the timing you are pretty much toast. I did get the perfect bonus once and also got a 3200 bonus for a secret item.
Oh well. I got my score on Tuesday night and I didn't really expect to stay #1. But it did take until Sunday for anyone else to beat me.
Thanks. I did get the special bonus once on that run, and I made it through one or two of the Phases that give me trouble without dying in them. I hate 18 and for some reason 9 caused me trouble a few times.

Getting over 200k in this game isn't easy. The pace starts to get hectic by around phase 14.

I expect the top 3 to be bert, guts and me, but I have no idea what order. It will be interesting to see who gets the #1 spot, but my guess is bert.
