This game isn't bad,but to me it plays kind of slow and clunky in the stages where you are walking. It also suffers from slowdown pretty badly when there is a lot going on.

I'm appreciating this game a lot more now than I did when it just frustrated me and I couldn't make progress. Considering this is the NES and how much is going on some slowdown is inevitable. NES shmups usually have awful slowdown.
Not bad seeing that I'm terrible at shooters and I've never played this before. I'll try to make time to get back to it later this week. I'll be participation regardless, but it's pretty fun.

It's a fun shooter with some of the best graphics on the NES.
It also kind of suffers from Gradius syndrome. You're a beast when powered up and you don't want to lose your powerups.

Got to the stage 4 boss and made a wrong move and fell. The stage is not too bad,especially since the pits are patterned.Some nice competition this contest. Scores are getting close.
