Help needed from Los Angeles gamers/collectors

Hey guys!

I'm working on a special Youtube project and need as much help as I can get. I've decided to record in 1080p/60fps with a framemeister every retro game I can get my hands on for historical purposes. At the moment I am starting with Sega Saturn since I own every Saturn game and it's a bitch to emulate. I'm recording gameplay demos atm since I don't have the time to beat every game ever and since 1080p/60fps videos take forever to process and upload. You guys can help me in three ways:

1. Provide me with games or systems I don't have for the purpose of recording.

2. If you are able to beat any of these old games within a reasonable timeframe (like a speedrun) I would love to record it in HD. I'm either bad at certain types of games or some games are so dated that I can't possibly stand to do it myself.

3. Play multiplayer games with me for more authentic footage (my friends hate retro games).

Please PM me if you're interested in helping me with the project - thanks for reading!

PS: if you want to help and aren't from LA but can make it there or want to mail games to me obviously you're more than welcome to!

  • Why not just use Everdrive carts for recording, then all you have to buy are the systems and EDs? I think you'll have a hard time, especially with zero feedback, that collectors are just going to hand over games to you for recording purposes...
  • Well obviously there is a right way to do it. I'm referring mostly to disc-based games.
  • Good luck. Although, what you are doing is saturated.
  • Youtube has plenty of video on every game already, and a ton of low quality (aka low skill) playthroughs of everything you can imagine. Unless you have something new and interesting to upload, this is a total waste of time. There is also zero reason you need people to send games to you. If you really must indulged yourself with this project go buy some flash carts and burn some discs.

Nobody has 1080p/60fps videos of almost all of these games. That's what I'm doing differently. Some people don't want to watch shitty outdated 480p quality videos.
