  • You people dont really follow the dallas cowboys. Its hilarious. Cowboy fans know whats going to happen. Seems like you all are in lala land oblivious.

Dak is good and I love it. Happy for the future. Romo will get a chance when hes ready. Its just the reality.
  •  I'm not saying Romo will literally never take a snap again as a Cowboy, just that the era is clearly over and they'll move on from his injury prone status and crazy salary (relative to Dak).  Fan favorite or not, father time has been calling his number awhile.
  • Tony romo has won one more playoff game than Ryan Tannehill and has won as many as Tim Teebo

From a non Cowboys fan perspective, I think Romo is a good qb but he's old and busted. To say that Dak cannot take the Cowboys deep into the playoffs might be true, but neither can Romo.

If the kid only has one or two losses I don't see why you try to finish with Romo.
  • You guys should know better than to argue about the Cowboys with quest.

    2 more wins bro.

would be 3 but we had the green bay dez "catch"

he was arguably the mvp in 2014. Romo can lead the team just fine if healthy. And if he goes down. We have the future waiting. Dont see the problem here at all.

People say he is old like he cant play anymore. Romo is only 8 months older than Eli Manning. He still has some football left.

Shit. It is two. 2009 seems like forever ago. I had to look it up

Wasnt there some kind of "catch" issue the game before GB when they won against Detroit

I just think switching qb's at that point in the season seems tough. Has that historically worked out for teams?

dont ignore the defense hands to the face on the play though. TE grabbed the dudes facemask and drug him with him prior to the "interference"

and ignore all the crap the lions did that game they got away with. Lions had plenty of chances even after that play. Still failed.

  • It sucks so bad on here, that I have to sit here and cant just like and enjoy dak prescott because people are overhyping him and saying romo is done. Its not just people on here , its all the illinformed cowboy fans. Completely ignore all teh team reporting and the people that are with the team everyday. Had one girl at a former job that wanted Stephen mcgee to start over romo. Some cowboy fans make you want to pull your hair out.

true, but if they score on that drive, changes the game.

if fouls are called every game all game it could change the game.  They had half a quarter to stop dallas. Then a whole drive to win. They also had a nice lead going into the half and 3rd quarter. Plenty of chances. Lions just did lions things

the NFL is so inconsistent when it comes to calls

i agree the lions still had chaces to win the game.

  • What sucks about the Romo/Dak situation is that when Romo comes back he won't be sharp yet. He will probably not look good the first game, maybe even the second game. But Romo can do things that Dak just isn't capable of yet. Once Romo is firing on all cylinders the offense is going to be even more deadly than it already is. And if Romo is truly injury prone at this point of his career, then Dak picks up where he left off. It's a good time to be a Cowboys fan.

yeah in 2014 he started slow. Week 3 he really turned it up and had an mvp season. Last year he got thrust in that game vs the dolphins and wasnt that sharp. Wasnt bad, but it was pouring rain so dont really know if it was all rust or weather impacted performance. Of course we couldnt see him last year much coming back from injury because he had to play carolina on a short week after that in an impossible task.
  • buccs have given the ball to jaquizz rodgers 30 times and still some 4th quarter left to play

not a winning formula. They really dont trust winston after the last couple weeks. Running right at the panthers is the opposite of what your strategy should be.
  • make that 36 touches for jaquizz rodgers. What a boring game.
  • I wish the Dolphins would run the ball like the bucs did tonight.

    3.3 yards per carry?

the only thing impressive about it was that rodgers didnt get injured.

30+ times a game. But I'll take 3.3 yards a carry too. Then I could really scream at the tv when they throw on 3rd and 2

2 runs and it would be 3rd and 3.4

If he losses 2/3 do you go back to dak?
  • An article speculated IF Jay Cutler is gone from the Bears then a landing spot may be the Dolphins for obvious reasons. I am not sure how I would feel about that IF it were to happen.

It would have to be how he played to determine going back to dak. Romo would atleast have to be given 2-3 games to have a chance to get going. They are probably going to wait patiently to bring him back making sure he is fully ready to go. He is basically re getting in football shape. Its like training camp for him right now. Theyll probably give him the bye week and one extra week to get ready and return week 9 vs. cleveland.

I've also heard that he is going to play first against Cleveland.  Over the years I've seen the Cowboys not be rational, but be more emotional and fiercely loyal to players with skins on the wall.  Something tells me Romo has the rest of this year and half of next year before they would pull the plug.

  • The dolphins are terrible but on that 3rd and 10, where they sacked Ben, there were flags flying from the start of the play...smh. Tough to beat the steelers AND the refs. The personal foul was a joke of a call and they never showed the defensive hold that happened immediately after the snap. WWE is more convincing than the NFL

I am surprised that the score is only 8-3 nearing the end of the first.

Right   on that wake sack, TE was holding like a mother....no flag there.

I got hopeful when tanny came off limping lol.

  • Holy shit they ran the ball twice in a row!!!! 2nd and 2, then 3rd and 1. Wow!

i thought for sure they would throw on 3rd and 1 lol
  • here comes a goal line stance
  • The real Patriots decided to play the last few minutes of the half.

O-line was absolutely horrible for most of the half and the defense at times wasn't much better. Let'a hope they've made some adjustments and keep the momentum going into the second half.
