The problem is their soundtracks sell out in less than a minute. I'm convinced people set-up bots to order soundtracks for them. They need a "I am not a robot" check.
I'm still debating on when I'm going to throw the towel in on some of these Vita releases. It's inevitable that I'll miss one.
I totally agree, I'm trying to just concentrate on games I want to play, which happen to be all of the pixel art RPGs and cool niche games, like Thomas Was Alone. I have picked up a couple that I don't intend to play as trade incase I end up missing one down the line.
I reeeeally hope they put out a Hotline Miami 1&2 combo. It was released in Japan but it's a digital key for 2.

There is a purchase limit per game per platform, and they will cancel multiple orders if they find out more than 2 copies of one game/soundtrack were purchaced from the same bank account.
WTF I logged on their site at 10 this morning and this game was nowhere to be found, either in current or future releases. I figured I had marked my calendar wrong. Oh well, I'll try again at 6.
I got a vita Dragon Fantasy. All I wanted so I'm hyped.
Would you mind me asking why? I watched the trailer and read some reviews and I want to want it, but, no offense your gaming tastes, it looks unpolished and nothing special to me.

They remove the games for a minute or so to clear out people's carts. Protects against people loading up before the release time. Dragon Fantasy didn't come back until like 10:02 or so this morning - and even then I had to click on the games section. Wasn't listed on the main page.

I'm relatively excited because it looks like a nice indie game. Sure, it's not going to be as polished as a multi-million dollar AAA game. However, reviews say that if you enjoyed classic SNES RPGs then this is a love-letter to you! Er, to the games
So, while the reviews might not be stellar, and the trailer might not be that great either, the proof is in the pudding. It's also not a game that was devloped with everyone or even modern gaming in mind. I heard it clocks in at around 15 hours, so it sounds like a relatively short and enjoyable game. Anyway, worst case and you don't really like it, you can always sell it. Limited Run games are highly collectible.
Got mine with little hassle lesson was learned from last round when they reset the page now for the wait and another wait for one way heroics and that's it for me this month don't care for TWA enough for a physical copy. (fun game tho)

Exactly. I havent tried the game before but I'll resell if I don't like it. I wanted a vita because those are always more expensive for some reason. So if I do resell, I'll probably make money, not just barely get it back if I bought the ps4 version. And I don't have a ps4. And also the vita LRG games are great tradebait.
I kind of mispoke, as it's not the only thing I want from LRG. Its the only thing I want this round of LRG sales, except maybe the Saturday Morning RPG, but I don't care about the vinyl it's bundled with. And same thing goes with that I just wanted the vita version. Of course since they only had 30 bundles I didn't get one but I'm fine with what I got this round.
I'm never sure how I get my orders in. This time it said sold out, I got bummed, reloaded the page on the checkout screen and bam it allowed me to order it. I love the RPGs they are releasing but it's so tough to get lucky and actually get a copy, even if you are logged in and ready right at the time they open. Getting a soundtrack seems impossible, Ive given up on that.

vita copy sold out this morning at 9:03 when I logged on.
went on at 5 on my phone. phone died at checkout. Had a family emergency at the worst possible time today right at 4:15 causing me to have to try and buy from my phone at 5which was almost dead.
got back to a comp at 5:08. vita version already sold out
I got a ps4 version that I dont even really want. Hoping someone might not care and trade a vita version for my ps4 version? I figure its a longshot but might as well ask. Today freaking sucked for me. Worst possible timing of an emergency.
I've been picking up the PS4 releases when titles become available from Limited Run Games. People, or at leas the collectors here, seem more gung ho about the Vita versions. Why is that? I don't even own either console, but I'm "getting these out of the way" for when I do.

The Vita has a pretty strong cult following and seems to be becomming such a niche system for RPGs, Visual Novels and other oddball games that more people are currently collecting for it than for the PS4. Many are banking on the fact that it will be strongly collectable in the future, so they're more apt to jump on for LRG vita copies than PS4. Mainly my opinion, but that's what I'm beginning to notice as the general consensus.

On the second batch I mistakengly ordered a PS4 version and I noticed it when I got the confirmation email so I had to go back to the site and get the Vita version.
Luckily I got and I still have all the Vita LRG releases.

Man- I missed the Saturday morning rpg vinyl...
Bet you'll see a few copies on ebay for far more than they originally cost...
Grabbed a Vita version!

They are putting some games up on Black Friday, maybe they'll pop some more then.
