Question about NES Game Saving Devices
Yeah, I had a question about the devices one can use to save their games on the 8 bit NES console. I heard the Game Action Replay only works if you take apart a toaster unit and put it in at an angle or on the top loader, if it's not modded, are those things true? I remember seeing a youtube video where a guy got a GAR to work on a top loader, but only when he plugged it into a Game Genie Adapter first. I've heard of the Power Pak too. I was wondering if there were any such devices that were simpler to use, maybe a modded console with some kind of memory unit installed, where you could save any game using your controller, or a cartridge you could plug in more easily than the GAR, that you could then attach a game cart to, so you can save. Do any such devices exist? Didn't see any when searching, but thought maybe one of you guys knew if there was one or how to make one.
