Starting to get my game room in order
I bought my house over two years ago and have been having to stash my games in boxes in my closet. The wife gave me a go-ahead to turn the basement into a game room. I still need to put the trim and baseboard up but I couldn't help but unbox all my stuff.
These were the first built-in cabinets I've ever made. I learned some lessons for the next time but they turned out ok.

You can see my sweet kitchen set in the back. The pictures were made by NAs very own milligangames. He does great work.

I'm jealous that your SNES didn't turn yellow like mine.
Dig it. Nice and clean. Are those all custom cases?
Yes. I buy the ugcs from mediashelving and have the covers made in lots of 50+. I have 60 more covers on the way. Very asthetically pleasing...
Nice work on the built in shelves. Any plans for permanent spots for the consoles?

That the one thing thats been bothering me. As for now, Ill just keep the NES/N64 on top and SNES/Genesis on the bottom. I bought the tv stand at a thrift store for a temporary replacement. Im pondering building a stand to specifically do what I need (which I'm unsure what that would be).
I'm the only one wondering about the vent? If it an active vent, or cold air return?
That is an active vent. It was in that place when I purchased the house; the furnace is on the other side of that wall. The HVAC is a bit cobbled up, but due to being tired of working on this house, I left good enough alone. on the plus side it is cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Needs more Batman, though.
I like the staggered posters.
