Good luck with that...I already asked and no one responded to me.

I know at one point I answered this very question (not necessarily yours) with two lists - One that was XBox only and another that was XBox and Computer exclusive.

Let me see if I can find it...

    Edit -> Here it is - http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=5&threadid=164876

Edit 2 -> And it looks like you replied and added a few more.

Yeah...I just thought someone might have a more complete list...but it's hard I guess. As you said in the other thread, games that start out exclusive can wind up being included on other systems...or how just because a game has a different title, doesn't make it an exclusive. Maybe if the Xbox had a smaller library it might be possible to track down all the exclusive titles...

  • We need to PM abrahamh2. He has the full set I believe and may already have a list or be kind enough to compile it.
  • I don't avidly collect OG XBOX, but defiantly hold onto the good-shape, obscure titles whenever I can find them. I'm probably at around 25 titles at the moment. I agree with it being a great time to buy the games, and that most of the games out there are in very good condition as most XBOX systems were adult owned (as this thread already stated); I was an exception as I was very young when I got the system.

Picked these up at a garage sale across from a job site last week. All three are complete and in good shape, and cost a total of $5.

  • ^ I have to disagree about games being in very good condition. From what I've seen Xbox games are some of the worst condition games I've come across while hunting (excluding older cartridge games). I know why...because the people who owned them were boys. Now from what I've seen, boys don't care about their games. Girls seem to take care of their stuff a lot better then boys do...idk why but whenever I've bought games from a female gamer, they're always in impeccable condition. Add to the fact that they're young (I said boys since when I buy Xbox games, most of the time the seller is a teenager), and they just don't care about keeping games nice. I mean we were all that age...I'm sure before we became collectors we all treated some of our games poorly.

But maybe it's just in my area...

By "boys" I thought you meant "males" and I was about to say, I think you're being a bit too broad here lol, some of us males treat our gaming stuff like it's the most delicate stuff on Earth.. But yes, boys are definitely hard on their toys. However I must add that this observation of yours may be just because you've seen fewer girls who game at a young age than boys. I know of my friends who have children, the daughters in the group are routinely accidentally shattering mommy's ipad screen while playing Minecraft, and spilling chocolate milk into the 3DS. Kids in general, basically, should never be allowed near anything expensive lol.

  • This system sucks, hard.

I kept the term young because at some point boys grow out of the age of destroying everything they touch. I supposed it depends on how kids are raised as well...taught to treat their stuff well because the parents can't afford to replace expensive items everytime the kid breaks it. I was good with my toys because my parents taught me that. And video games weren't toys...so they had to be treated even better.

It might be possible that I've seen fewer young female gamers...but on a whole I think girls treat their toys better. They love their dolls and stuffed animals. But again it goes back to how they were brought up.

  • I blew half my shit up. Im willing to sell 2 xboxes, a bunch of controllers, six or so games fairly cheap given shipping, before i get some wood and just make a badass stepstool out pf these wastes of shit

pm me what you have. might be able to work out something with the gamecube i have

  • I didn't realize exactly how good prices were even in game stores...I traded in some old games and DVDs to a local store for $40 worth of credit and ended up getting a big stack of Xbox games! I was sorely tempted to treat myself to something "better" (keeping in mind, I don't exactly love the Xbox) like one of their more expensive games in their glass case...but I thought why the hell not and just got a bunch of games off of my want list. Your money really does go a long way for Xbox games...nice to see that when game prices are so damn high anymore.

I -think- most game stores see xBox as taking up space. I've noticed that they tend to be pretty cheap as well.

The Pawn America I go to sells them for $1 each, sometimes $2 if the game is somewhat known.
  • Picked up one I've been wanting for a while a couple days ago, Stubbs the Zombie for $18 at 2nd and Charles in Richmond. That place is pretty much retail on everything, so I didn't expect to find such a good deal; I reckon it's been sitting there for a while. I'd been holding off on it for ages, since it's one of the pricier Xbox titles. I've been listening to songs off the soundtrack to this game for a decade without ever having played it. Looking forward to firing it up.

Stubbs for $18 is a great deal. I think that one flew under the radar for a while until some YouTubers brought it up. It's a console exclusive so that doesn't help matters (although it was released on PC back in the day as well).

Yeah...looking at the game store I went into, they have TONS of Xbox games just laying in a huge bin with like $2 prices on them. And TBH I only pulled one of the Xbox games I bought out of that area...they had a smaller but still quite full bin for the over $5 priced Xbox games. So yeah they had a lot of Xbox games. I remember last time I went in there I was super close to my max amount of credit, so he said I could pick out two Xbox games from the biggest bin and he'd call it good. He also doesn't want to take any Xbox games when people bring them in to sell. Next time I have a little bit of cash floating around, I need to hit them up again and score some more Xbox stuff.

Lucky you on the pawn shop, the ones around here still price them like everything from that gen of consoles...$5 is the normal price, higher for Gamecube or popular titles. But you can usually haggle with them on prices...

Yeah, it's made getting to this point easy. I go in, load up a basketfull, pay, and leave with a basketfull of games for under the cost of a new title.

They seem to be an oddity though, I've gone to other stores in the chain and they frequently over charge.
